This gym also has a smell of cat litter. Not sure if it's the rubber floors or what, but the bottom floor really stinks. Other than those two, a gym is a gym and I'm there to work out. The sauna is nice and gets very hot.

The owner, Dan Owens, instructs these classes often and will absolutely crush your upper and lower body in the best possible way. He is extremely knowledgeable and dedicated to making sure every person in the room knows what to do and helps with form if necessary and welcomed. Another great perk is access to the locker rooms and saunas. I feel the entire facility is kept clean and organized. I love the big windows everywhere which allow for a ton of natural light to come inside. I also enjoy using the indoor/outdoor green space on the bottom floor which has a garage door that can open and close depending on the weather. Very nice during Spring, Summer and early Fall. I never feel like I have to wait for equipment to free up, and they do offer complimentary towels at the front desk upon check-in. This athletic club is on ClassPass and I typically just purchase gym time using a couple credits or I sign up for the circuit or conditioning classes.

He's super personable and has really great energy - everyone loves working out with him! I've also worked with the other trainers - Phillip, Malik, Hunter, and Ariel - they're all amazing and really friendly, and you get to learn different tips, exercises, etc. from all of them. It's a semi-private studio environment so you don't have to worry about being judged! The space is always clean and well-stocked with snacks, towels, water, etc. Their use of technology is also great - you receive a heart rate monitor, you can see your schedule on an app, you get scanned periodically on the Styku to see your progress, and you can even text your trainers! You won't regret hiring a personal trainer to get in shape!

I'm a paying customer and should be treated with respect like others…read more I recently canceled my OneLife Fitness membership after nearly six months of attending 5 days a week. During that time, I spent an average of 1-2 hours per visit and did my best to be a respectful member--reracking weights, wiping down equipment, and being considerate of other people in the gym. The reason I canceled wasn't the equipment or the facility. It was the customer service. The towel situation became a constant source of frustration. Instead of greeting members or acknowledging them when they scan in, the front desk staff often appear more interested in avoiding eye contact than providing service. If you want a towel, don't expect anyone to offer one--you have to proactively ask for it almost every time. What made the experience even worse was being repeatedly questioned about whether I was a Premier member after requesting a towel. After coming to the gym nearly every day for half a year, being treated like I was trying to get away with something became exhausting. There is a respectful way to verify membership benefits, and then there is making paying customers feel like they're being challenged or scrutinized. What bothered me most was the lack of basic courtesy. A simple "hello," eye contact, or acknowledgment when members walk in shouldn't be difficult. Instead, I often felt like I was inconveniencing the staff by asking for a service included with the membership I was paying for. Over time, I couldn't help but wonder whether my appearance played a role in how I was being treated. As a minority with visible tattoos, I often felt singled out and scrutinized in ways that other members did not appear to be. While I can't say for certain what motivated the behavior, the repeated questioning and lack of basic courtesy left me feeling that my race and tattoos may have influenced the assumptions being made about me. I'm a combat-disabled veteran. The staff was unaware of my veteran status until I raised my concerns about how I was being treated. Once I mentioned it, their attitude noticeably changed. I was suddenly informed that they offered a VA discount, and the interactions became much friendlier. While I appreciate businesses that support veterans, it was disappointing to see a difference in how I was treated only after revealing my background. Respect and professionalism should be extended to every member from the start, not based on whether someone qualifies for a discount or has a particular status. I chose not to accept the discount and proceeded with canceling my membership. Ultimately, I realized there are too many gyms competing for my business to continue paying for an experience that consistently left me feeling unwelcome. That's why I canceled my membership and chose to take my business elsewhere.

Studio 108 has awesome energy and superior knowledge that you get from the trainers, they are eager to help and will to take time with you. Also they understand what you are striving for, any issues/concerns you may be having (for me over the last 3 years it's been post pregnancy, pre pregnancy, post pregnancy again and 4 months post pregnancy a broken ankle all in addition to a recurring knee issue) and they WILL get you there and further, while having fun. This is no one-shop-fits all, buy my latest vitamin, fly-by-night operation. They...take...care...of...you. Your health and well-being is priority. You won't even get on equipment/touch a jump rope/do a push up until a health assessment is done - trust me; this is to your benefit! Everything you do toward achieving your health/fitness goals from that moment on out will be custom-tailored for your body. My body has slimmed down (although I'm still a work in progress). I know they're helping me do something right because heads have been turning in appreciation. :-) The strength training has sculpted some awesome arms, calves, and hips (if I do say so myself). And, let me add: this place is phenomenal for families. I have two sons; ages 13 and 17. They both are football/lacrosse players and they train here. They have an athletic fitness program designed for my sons that is so awesome that it helped my oldest son become selected as part of the football team at Georgia Southern University. They care **THAT** much for their athletes to design a program that helps them excel! I love my Fitness Studio 108 family. And, the truth of the matter is, they love me (and all of their clients) right back. They celebrate every milestone that you accomplish. If you don't believe me, check out their Facebook or web page. They even took the time earlier this year to go grocery shopping with me to help keep me on track. On top of that, they support the community they are in! From the football program, to the lacrosse team, to helping out families in need. Whenever I tell them of a need in the community that I am a part of, they help! How many times have you heard of a business doing that? They put their money where their heart is! So thank you Annie, Margie and Adam...y'all making training FUN.
