Apparently the dentist I had been going to before Dr. Petti wasn't so great and I needed to have a deep cleaning procedure done on my teeth. He was very kind and informative, continually complimenting me on my dental hygiene routine and educating me about how to avoid tartar buildup. I've never had dental issues or even a single cavity in my life, so I was shocked when I was told I had significant gum disease. Because of this claim, they refused to perform the routine cleaning I had scheduled. Instead, I was strongly encouraged to purchase expensive out-of-pocket products/treatment costing around $7,000. The experience left me extremely uncomfortable and concerned. Since then, I've visited two other dentists in Monroeville, both have told me that my teeth and oral health look great. Neither raised the same concerns I was presented with at 412 Dental. The practice does a lot of advertising, so I feel it's important to share my experience and encourage people to not go here and get a second opinion before agreeing to expensive recommended treatments if they do. Based on my experience, I would HIGHLY not recommend them to a single soul.

So now three of my four front teeth are darker than the rest. I tried to live with them but am sooo unhappy with my smile; when I went back for my next cleaning he promised me he'd give me his time for free, and the lab would redo them at half price. But when I was given the quote it was only slightly less than the original cost. Also, I had saved some cash way-back-when and used it to get a reduced price. I gave the cash to the office on a Tuesday and on a Friday they called saying they were $500 short. Unbelievable. This is by far the worst experience I ever had with a dentist (and his staff). I will never go back there. I just started with a new dentist, and one of the staff told me her mother had a terrible experience at this dentist, and she herself worked there for a period of time and it was not a good experience.
