Terrible experience. They put in temporaries before Covid, and when I went back after to get the work done, they told me they lost my temporaries and the dentist who did my work no longer works there. They referred me to the Royal College of Dental Surgeons to get a resolution. Basically, "sue us". What a disgrace. Avoid at all costs. read more

For the last year, we have had a new dentist, Dr. Cho. Sometimes change is difficult, but this is the most outstanding dentist we have ever had. He took extra time with my daughter, to make sure she felt no pain without a general anesthetic, while getting her wisdom teeth out. My younger daughter has had braces and after 3 years he emailed their office to say that there were teeth that still weren't straight. Tracy, the receptionist made sure that information went directly to their office, twice. Without them, we would have had the braces removed before they should have been. So if you want a dentist who is fastidious, detailed and takes the time to do things properly, he's your guy! read more

My wife and I have been patients of Smile Dental Centre since its inception and before, when it was located at Hyde Park and Oxford, in all, a total of over ten years. In all that time, we have experienced nothing but top quality service from friendly, caring staff. I would be hard pressed to find anything negative to say about the competence and professionalism of the staff and the service we continue to receive. read more

I am giving this dental office one star because I can't give it zero. I am absolutely disheartened and disgusted with Dr Cho. He apparently purchased the practice from now retired Dr Garikani (although she is still listed on their website). My son, daughter and ex-husband all got veneers from Dr Garikani. Of the three sets of veneers, two of them have had nothing but problems. My son has only had his veneers for three years and one of them has continually popped off. The other dentists in the practice have been merely adding "cement" to the tooth and pasting it back on. On the last visit, Dr Cho told my son that this was a "shoddy job" by Dr Garikani and he shouldn't have gotten veneers done here. He said the rest of the veneers will fall off in the next 2-3 years and he needs to get crowns - at a cost of $1000/tooth. When I questioned why we should have to pay for shoddy workmanship, he dropped my son as a patient and said we'd have to go somewhere else, he will not assume liability for this patient...even though they have been re-attaching the tooth multiple times. I was a patient of Dr. Garakani at Smile Dental for 2 years. I was initially quite happy. However lately they were trying to push me into getting more work done than necessary. I am aware that it is my right as a patient to refuse treatments that I do not need. The business' response to this was quite shocking. They were very disrespectful to me. It was like as if they didn't want my business anymore because I told them what I was willing and not willing to do. It seems they only want patients who agree to overspend and not question what they are saying. I just went to another dentist for a second opinion, and they fully agreed with me that Smile Dental is a Shady Business and that what they were insisting I do was not at all needed. I absolutely do not recommend them if you want honest services. Don't fall for the false image that they present of their business. When I get my 'Consumer Choice' survey I'm giving them the lowest possible rating. read more
