It's a private…read moredentist but at NHS prices - mortifyingly, not having been to a dentist in three years, I can't remember how much the damn things are in the first place. My housemate recommended it to me as she got her teeth whitened there (£200 take home) after her new patient exam and clean (£30) which all seemed pretty good value. I went along for the latter and was a bit resigned to yet another hideous dentist experience from hell, but far from it. The studio is very clean and relaxing (looks a bit spa-ish in fact, except filled with posters for good teeth) and Eva, my dentist is blonde, Swedish and knows exactly what she's doing. My exam was very thorough and my clean and polish just showed what a cowboy my childhoos dentist was: I was always used to being poked by that horrible scalpel until I bled, but didn't feel a thing beyond the usual crystals of paste flying around (=as always, that texture is just grim) I was patiently saving up to get my crowns replaced this summer at my old dentist (a squillion pounds, give or take) but am now definitely going to have them at the Dental Studio, £1000 for two porcelain ones. And who knows, I might get my teeth whitened too. God knows I've been grinning like a fool about finding a "keeper" dentist, I might as well make them look a bit nicer.

Wow, have to find a new dentist!…read more So I've had a couple of great experiences here. Dr Ove is gentle and doesn't yell at me for drinking tea and red wine. I was way overdue for a check up so I phoned to see if I could get in with him. They said they don't take appointments but he'd be there between 2-5:00 on a certain day. I got there right before 2 and when I checked in, they said it would be well over an hour before he could see me. So that isn't going to cut it as a "lunch break" out of the office. Unfortunately, since I have to be at work almost all the hours they're open, this place is an utter fail for me. I can't believe they won't take appointments for dental check ups, it's completely ridiculous!

Quite apart from his exceptional work - he listens to your needs and readily tries to accomodate what he can. He always surprises me as to what he can achieve and genuinely tries to satisfy ones needs. I've visited many dentists over the years and have never come across one so obliging and great at what he does. So many other dentists just do not consider all the aspects of this very personal work. I went there as I was not getting help from my dental practise or others that I visited…read more dr Elisa facco met me and identified that old silver fillings were causing my mouth to decay and other problems. she passed me on to dr munslow who made a treatment plan to fix all my issues. when replace my silver fillings she was the first dentist to cover my mouth so as to not sw diver filling material which showed proper dental procedure. dr munslow did great job replacing silver fillings and I feel a lot better as I was always depressed by the state of my teeth. dr munslow was very caring and keep checking I was ok all the time. dr munslow showed me what a true professional dentist should be like and I am so grateful to have met her. thank you Harley street dental clinic for such great work

The practise has everything it needs, but without any shiny equipment, and they do all sorts of dentistry related stuff from simple filling to teeth restructuring. practise rooms can get crampy at times especially if someone comes along. The prices are for a "private only" clinic, so make sure that your insurance would pay before going, it is quite expensive but the doctors (at least the ones we tried) are excellent.

Awful customer service!…read more I have to admit to book an appointment with the practise was extremely fast. But on the other hand Asian looking man sitting at the reception with the hat on his head and sunglasses was extremely rude and unprofessional on the phone. I kept calling the practise requesting proof of evidence that i have visited the practise i was asked to pay £20 for certificate, which is ridiculous after paying £50 for examination by just looking in to my mouth for 5 seconds and on top of that £50 for antibiotics. After i was told on the phone by the guy at the reception that i could get my treatment plan emailed, so i was happy and send an email kindly requesting an evidence of my treatment plan. I called the practise today to see if they have received my email. Guy at the reception replied that i must wait 2-3 day to receive an email with my treatment plan. I was shocked, because surely it was the same receptionist i spoke with today informed me yesterday i will have to wait 1-2 days to receive my payment plane and kept cutting me off while i was on the phone yesterday and today, in fact i needed that evidence to provide for my employer. I have to admit from my experience these people don't really care about customer wellbeing but money they collect from people at the end of the day.
