There is not an option for a million star review, so I suppose 5 stars will have to suffice! I have been a patient at Smile Linn Dental since 2013. I do not even know where to begin to describe how great each and every visit has been. From my experience, generally the first visits to any office might be good but service tends to take the downward slide at some point. I am at four years later and they are still surprising me with the consistent level of outstanding service. Dr Ibsies is absolutely amazing and the staff is all wonderful and so very kind. I have been to many dental offices in my 28 years of life and I will never go anywhere else again. I have always been extremely nervous to go to the dentist as my past experiences were negative and painful. Since I started going to Smile Linn Dental I do not get uneasy or nervous, I actually look forward to my appointments! Somehow the Dr and staff have made going to the dentist into a positive experience and they really do take the time to do a great job each visit. I feel welcome and like I belong there, it is a really nice feeling. I cannot forget to mention the most important part! Dr Ibsies has fixed all of my dental issues caused by past dentists and has worked with me to get a great plan in a way that I can afford to reverse all of my previous dental issues. My teeth are finally where they need to be and I could not be more grateful. No more pain, no more fillings falling out ... finally a pretty smile that I can feel great about. Dr. Ibsies at Smile Linn Dental is an incredible dentist and our family is thrilled to have found him about 10 years on a Saturday. While I was initially not even a patient of his, we called Dr. Ibsies while experiencing an urgent dental matter, and he was willing to see me to treat my, what I found out was a severe abscessed tooth. I switched to his services permanently the following week. Dr. Ibsies stays on the cutting edge of dentistry and modern medical technology. Not only does Dr. Fadi care about being professional, he also cares about each individual personally--he often asks me about my life and family, and mentions how much he appreciates my kids. The whole family has been coming to Smile Linn Dental for years. The staff here are both professional and nice. Dr Ibsies is very good at what he does and has fixed some shabby work of my previous Dentist. I first got hooked on Breaking Bad by watching Netflix on the TV mounted on the ceiling while I was getting worked on. The tools and equipment are very modern. The Hygienists that do the cleaning are great and efficient and very friendly. They are not too easy to get into, but when I broke a tooth, they worked me right in. Be patient. You may have to wait a couple weeks or so but it is worth it. Well, worth it as much as anyone wants to go to the Dentist. They are located in the center with the Starbucks and McDonalds. read more

I had a terrible fear of dentists in general brought about by years of inept dentists. In fact it was so bad I would have to take a Valium just for a cleaning. Fortunately since I have been going to this office I have done a 180. This office has up to date technology and Dr Ibsies Fadi is extremely knowledgeable and genuinely takes an avid interest in your well being. He explains things clearly and expertly lays out what is needed and prioritizes them accordingly. His staff is top notch and creates a positive and professional environment. I had to have a crown put on after an endodontist did a complicated root canal. Dr. Ibsies and his team worked expeditiously to get me in for an exam and review a treatment plan. Due to an early morning cancellation they were able to fit me in right away. His office staff and dental assistant worked closely together with Dr. Ibsies to reassure me they could take care of my situation efficiently and with expertise! Dr. Ibsies has a special caring way about him. I feel like I am treated as a beloved family member of his. This is a man that truly does not put profit above his concern for people. I can't say enough positive things about him. He even helped a family member of mine (that is not a patient) who had an infection in her mouth that could have killed her. When he heard about her, he invited her in the same day and immediately helped resolve the issues. He would not take a penny from either of us. We moved to the area 15 years ago and bounced around from one dentist to the next, trying to find an honest practice that didn't start the first visit off with 'all your fillings need to be replaced'. I was very happy to finally find a professional, communicative dentist after bad experiences with a couple of other dentists in West Linn/Lake Oswego. I like Dr Ibsie but the lady who does billing does not know what she is doing!!! She overcharged even after insurance and then she submitted it to insurance again twice!!! Is she working on commission? The more she gets out of the patients the more she is paid? read more

I've been in pain every time I've visited and always heard screams & crying of patients in pain. Everyone seems to be in a rush and double/triple booked. Over advertised and under performing. Dentist is happier being a salesman than providing adequate healthcare and does not listen to your concerns. He is in a race to retire. If you have an opinion or questions he's more than happy to let you go. Literally said to me that he has 5,000 patients and does not have time nor care to be proactive in scheduling implants (for which there is a window of opportunity before bone loss occurs) or regular cleaning (which I ended up needing painful deep cleaning that was overcharged and gave me new pain). Condescending staff and dentist who don't listen to you and won't admit to any billing mistakes but most importantly think less than of you and don't actually care about your dental health. read more

Fadi Ibsies is the worst dentist I've ever used. I went in to get 6 crowns for six new implants I'd already been placed. He was a good salesman, showed me a lot of pictures of what my crowns would look like and made a lot of promises? I wrote him a check and planned to go forward. With each visits he would push other work. As it turn out he wanted to do everything but what I asked for. He insisted on crowning 8 other good teeth, he said it would "make me look younger". He insisted on braces and extreme bleaching (my teeth are pretty white naturally), everything he insisted on was completely cosmetic. I explained I had a fixed amount of money and I'd already given all I had. I did need some other dental work but he wasn't interested in what my insurance would pay on. When I declined to have $30,000.00 cosmetic work and told him over and over that I just wanted the six crowns that I already paid in full, he became very angry, rude and saying degrading things. When he finally placed the crowns they were grey. When I told him I didn't want grey teeth he said, "you said you didn't care how you look" and his anger excelled. This was after three visits to the dental lab in Vancouver for color matching. The lab owner told me that the crowns were grey because Ibsies used the wrong abutments and he also told me not to do all the other things Ibsies wanted to do "because it would damage my teeth". Ibsies admitted he made a mistake but I had to pay for it. Ibsies said, "don't worry, you can make some small payments". The next time I came in he changes his tune and claimed he didn't remember his offer. The six crowns I needed took over a year and endless visits. After they received my payment in full for the crowns things became so odd and uncomfortable at the appointment I starting having my husband come with me to witness what was happening. I've never had such an unpleasant experience with a dentist. When it was all done and over and $13,000 later, I'm having to fix his work. Be aware! read more
