I had an initial appointment I had to rescheduled and when I called back to reschedule, they claimed I never was a "new" patient and they never had my information. I had to give my information again, which I did not mind. I told them specifically I was referred by a "specific" mutual doctor in hopes that they will reach out to this doctor to retrieve my current, recent X-rays and referral letter. I didn't realize I had to bring the physical referral in. I had asked about their consult fee but was told they don't know until they look into my insurance and they will call me back with that info, never received that call back. The day of my appointment, the receptionist asked if I had my referral and I apologized and told her I did not. She made a comment about how are they going to know which tooth/teeth to look at. That I would have to wait for her to email or call my dentist for the referral... in my head, I'm thinking why haven't this been done yet?? Luckily the wait wasn't long. They took X-rays so I'm assuming the ones they probably received from my dentist was not what they needed, which i could understood and should have question prior to, but I didn't. My fault. After meeting and talking to Dr. Karr about my treatment plan, we decided to extract and not retreat (thank goodness) I paid and left. About 1 month after my appointment give or take, I received a bill from them so I called to see what it was for. I was told someone will reach out to me. After a few days, they reached out but I was not able to pick up. I returned the call and was informed the bill was for my X-ray the insurance did not cover. I asked why they didn't reach out to my dentist because he took the exact same "scan" right before I saw them. They told me my dentist didn't send it to them so therefore they took theirs. I wasn't going to argue because apparently they need that more than me. SO FOR THOSE WHO WILL BE GOING TO THIS PLACE OR ANY DENTAL SPECIALTY OFFICES know that almost all specialists will require some sort of consult fees! Ask for fees! Asked if you've had a recent scan or X-ray taken can they use it and for them to retrieve it from your dentist so you don't pay for what your insurance already paid for!

What an amazing experience…read more I walked into the office of a maxiofacial surgeon expecting to get my tooth pulled that day. The surgeon explained that because of my age, I would not be able to receive an implant until 10+ years and that I would run into issues with that tooth if I decided to pull it so early. He then referred us to RC Endodontics for an emergency root canal. I walked in terrified because of the poor thoughts on root canals and the issues that could arise later from failed root canals or root canals in general. They got me into the office in about 30 minutes, which was wonderful because I had been losing sleep over this tooth and experiencing horrible ear aches and jaw pain for days. They took a look at the tooth and saw that I had bone loss and a severe infection through that part of my jaw and tooth. Dr.Parmer was extremely kind and helped with my worries and concerns without judging. She performed the procedure and injected me multiple times to make the procedure more comfortable. It's been about 3 months since I've received it and I'm no longer in any pain and my bone has gone back to its normal state. I am so grateful for such a kind office and such a well done procedure. The front office staff was incredibly friendly and transparent, the dental assistant was wonderful, and Dr. Noorvash took the time to perform a thorough evaluation with both X-rays and a CBCT scan. He could have easily recommended retreatment, but instead he explained that he did not see a missed canal and did not feel there was any reason to rush into another root canal.
