I just had my last dental appointment with Dr. Alexandroni and was shocked to hear she will be retiring soon due to a medical condition. I am very sad about this as she was my dentist for the last 19 years! She really has set a standard that will be hard to beat (see my last review from 2016). I will really miss her personal involvement with me as a patient and her top-notch work. I may not always agree with her on politics but will really miss her as my dentist and hope I can find another person as meticulous and caring as she has been to me and all of her other patients. Use to be good, but what a change. Have not seen her in two yrs. and when I went back, she had a bill already for me, even before I was examined, which did not happen. Was not invited in for exam, she wanted to clean my already cleaned teeth. She asked me why I was here? For my check up, I keep getting phone messages for your office, she stated that was because of auto messaging. She asked me if I was ok, I said yes. She made me feel real stupid. Dr. Alexandroni is fantastic! I love that she takes her time with me when I'm there. I think this is the first office I've been to where the dentist herself is the person who does my cleaning, instead of a hygienist. I also like her attention to my comfort. When I was getting a filling, she let me choose a movie to watch from her DVD library and placed a TV monitor right above my head so that I could watch the entire time. She also puts blankets on the chairs and offers sunglasses for the glare from the lights, as well as a pillow. The people in the office are so kind. After a negative experience at a couple of money-hungry HMO offices, I'm happy to have found a dentist who's worth paying for a PPO plan (and when I first saw her and was paying out of pocket, she lowered the prices for me!). I have been going to Dr Alexandroni since she purchased her practice from my former dentist. I decided at that time to give her a try and have been with her ever since at least twenty years now. The office is immaculately clean and she goes out of her way to explain the procedures she is working on. I also like the staff she employs all very professional and kind, good people!!! You can watch a movie or listen to music while being worked on it helps to take your mind off the procedures. A few years back I had knee surgery and the anesthesiologist said to me man you have great set of teeth! I told him I have a hell of a good Dentist! I think that says it all. Dr. Alexandroni is seriously amazing. I was referred by my mother-in-law, who was referred by her sister-in-law and the list goes on. Our whole family goes to her for a reason. She is very patient, comprehensive and does quality work. She always explains what needs to be done and why, while showing x-rays and handing a mirror so I can see what I see. I have had several procedures with her and every time she is gentle and efficient. She doesn't do a rush job, will do it correctly the first time and with great care. She genuinely cares for our family. Tammy at the front desk is wonderful as well, she is helpful with any questions, follow-ups and paperwork. My 5 year old really enjoys his dental visits and had fun learning about the equipment. As an added bonus, we get to watch movies while getting work done, it helps the time pass!
