Hygienist a compliment to the Dr. This place lost 3 yes 3 stars for their billing collection practices. My insurance covered everything but 28 bucks. They said they would bill me once insurance paid. In the mean time I went out of work for a heart problem. Left my job to find something less stressful that wouldn't cause the extra stress on my heart. I get a phone call asking for my updated address, explained my above mentioned condition and said I'll pay you as soon as I can, got the bill for 28$ and a call two days later. The very rude collection lady/office person told me and I quote. "We sent you one bill and it was returned, we called got your correct address and billed you again a few days ago. You need to pay this NOW. It costs us $20 per billing that we do not pass on to you." Now the last time I checked a stamp is less than a dollar, haven't mailed anything in years. Paper 1 penny envelope 25 cents. Lady one the phone yelling at me lets be generous $15 an hour, we spoke 3 minutes first call and 4 maybe 5 the next. So based on her math, I should have told her save 20 bucks by not billing me and let's call it even. Dr. Gillette if you decide to change offices, with your hygienist or have a new office staff I would love to continue with you as a patient however I will never step foot into Sage Dental ever again.

I came back and after they finished my 'deep cleaning' on a quarter of my mouth they charged me $250 and wanted to schedule me for 3 more appointments at $250 each. ($250 per hours seems pretty darn high) $1,000 to get my teeth cleaned seems like extortion. I feel they are taking advantage of me because I do not have dental insurance. I told them I will go to another dentist and get my teeth cleaned. The office and staff are very friendly.
