We found this dental office when we were looking for a new holistic dentist. Dr Zorro is extremely friendly, welcoming, attentive, patient and accommodating. Dr Raven is very warm, friendly and detail oriented. I was really grateful when she helped me with my dental implant screw. She's a very good listener and addressed all my concerns and fixed the issue that day and it's been perfect since. Also, the cleaning she did was very thorough and gentle. Felt like the best cleaning I've ever had. The dental assistants/hygienists are all so nice as well. Super kind, sweet and easy to talk to. While this doesn't seem to be a 100% biological dentist since they offer fluoride for those who want it - we do still enjoy the quality of care here and I love that the office is always very clean. As someone who could get a PhD in dodging dentist offices, this is the first time I've found an amazing one with wonderful bedside manners and honest practices. Dr. Zorro is excellent at her job: highly skilled, kind, and thoughtful. She treated me like a family member and has conservative recommendations which I really appreciated. She's not trying to get your money - she's only looking to take care of you and be your advocate. She's done many procedures for me, with kindness and excellent expertise. She makes you feel safe. Love her! Ivette is my hygienist and she is wonderful!! She did a deep cleaning for me and beforehand I was very nervous. But for the first time, this deep cleaning was painless. I didn't feel a thing and she consistently asked me if I was comfortable, if I needed anything, etc. Her bedside manner was excellent, she is so empathetic. She also used a special laser device to kill bad bacteria - this office has such cool technology. They even have a device that can tell if you have sleep apnea! I came here when i needed to find a dentist quick to help with my tooth. I paid $200-$300 total for them to glue my tooth, and it didn't even last 4 hours before it got wiggly again. Next day, they re glued again for another $100. Not even 2 hours later, the tooth they re glued is wiggly again. I call and leave a voicemail since it was after office hours. I wake up in the morning, and the tooth completely falls off with their glue everywhere. I call them again seeing when they can fit me in since I now had a missing front tooth, making it hard to eat as well as go out. Finally, around 4pm they were able to fit me in and re glue it, but by that time I couldn't take my medication all day and was dealing with dizziness, etc. They re glued the fallen tooth and by 48 hours it was wiggly. I ended up flying back to see my regular dentist and she had to remove a bunch of extra glue they left all over my teeth, and it hurt so bad. The people here were nice, but the work was honestly terrible and a huge waste of money and time. I would never come back. read more

Initial Visit , was pleasantly surprised to get an honest assessment from Dr. Z. Lots of local dentists try and upsell you on procedures you do not need and keep you in the office for hours. Dr. Zorro was very nice and performed the procedure I asked for (given I am in kind of a bind) even though additional work still needs to get done. They also fit me in last minute. FANTASTIC! Dr. Zorro and her entire staff are excellent. I'm a nervous patient, and Dr. Zorro was sensitive to that, with me, and administered the numbing needle in a way that I have never experienced before. I barely knew it was in there when she did it. Their COVID safety practices are excellent, and more are provided than are required. The technology and equipment used at this practice, are second to none. Full 3D imaging, even of the throat to determine whether or not you have sleep apnea. Some other gadget to filter the air at the patient's mouth to prevent the spread of COVID, as well as fantastic cleanliness of the entire, very new, gorgeous facility. I drive a LONG way to see Dr. Zorro, for the level of care and sensitivity she and her staff provide. (over 100 miles) I likely pass 500 dentists to get to her Carlsbad location, and it is worth every mile. She is only getting 5 stars, because that's all Yelp will allow me to put. Run away from this place. Worst dentist ever! I recently almost chocked on a crown that this clinic put in my tooth. I had two crowns done at this clinic, I had to go to the clinic 7 times to get my second crown fixed, every single time they welcome you with an injection on your gun, grind the teeth and try to fit a crown that is not the proper shape, fail at it, leave you with an inflamed gum and ask you to come again. They work with a lab that ships them the crowns based on some imaging they do, but I can't believe they didn't get it right for me even after the 7th visit. Both my crowns have huge gaps in between and food gets stuck between them after every single meal, and now they have decays under them ( came to know about this after I went to a real doctor while experiencing pain) I work for a company very close to this clinic, planning to send the same review about this clinic in our company social groups. read more

Went during covid. She recommended expensive teeth whitening and said I'd see results. I noticed no difference after multiple treatments. She also cleaned my teeth 3 times. During one of my teeth cleanings, she found a cavity and scheduled a filling. Prior to the appointment, my tooth was hurting, so I know I needed it filled. She filled it, but it still hurt afterwards, so I made a follow up appointment. She looked at it and said she didn't file it down enough, and filed it down further. It still hurt every time I drank something cold or went running for months after. I scheduled another cleaning and told her it was still hurting often. She looked at it, and put on some surface numbing agent FOR THE DAY and said that would fix it. She refused to fix the issue. I scheduled an appointment with my childhood dentist after that who looked at it, did x rays, and said I either would need a crown or it's possible the filling was done poorly and would need to be redone. He couldn't tell which of the two it was so gave me the choice. I opted for the less expensive redo of the filling to see if it would help. He drilled out the filling this dentist did poorly and refilled it. Cost me another $300. But after the procedure, my tooth never hurt again. This dentist can't even do a basic filling without messing it up and refused accountability. She was nice, but not skilled. I never went back. Not worth the nice atmosphere to have to pay to have her mistakes fixed by another dentist because she wouldn't own up to messing up the filling the first time. Or the second time. Or the third time when it still hurt. again, for 4 months. Ridiculous. This was all in 2020. I came back to write this because I'm appalled she is still in business and that everyone loves her. Maybe she got better at her job and was fresh out of dental school in 2020 idk. read more

I live near this new office and thought I would go in for a cleaning. Office is beautiful but after they took bite xrays they took me over to another huge xray machine to do a panoramic which I later regretted doing and wasn't necessary. I was leaving and was told when did I want to return to fill the 2 cavities I had . I was so surprised the dentist never said anything to me about cavitities . The next day I brought my daughter and they told her also on the way out she had 4 cavitities ! We went and got a second opinion and turned out I have NO cavities and daughter had 2 ( not 4 ) . This is THE most amazing dental office I have ever been to! The office is brand new and is nice and clean. Their sanitary processes are on point. The cleaning was the best cleaning I have ever had. While Dr. Zoro scraped plaque during the cleaning, she did not poke and jab my gums. It was so pleasing to have a cleaning that was incredibly thorough yet gentle at the same time! To address my concern, I went to Dr Zorro because I was referred to her office by one my friends who got their teeth whitened with amazing results while my current dental office didn't offer such a service.
