It turned out that this hot tub was only available in Canada. He kept promising it was ordered and kept trying to collect more money without doing any work. When my husband asked for proof of purchase, he went to a local vendor and signed a contract to try to prove that it was ordered. This was two months after it was supposed to be ordered. The day he signed the contract, he asked for more money. He claimed he could get this hot tub for half the price the store was selling it for. We called the store and found out he was lying. Once he realized he couldn't get anything else out of us, he left and blocked our phone number. He even moved out of town. We found out later that he does this to others as well.

They arrived each day at the exact time we were told they would be here. My property was left clean each day. Rufus works right along with his crew. The whole job was very smooth and very well ran. Campbell looked and advised replacing instead of patching. I agreed. He was backed up for months. When my turn arrived three months later I was trying a lawsuit out-of-town. If I did not let them go ahead I'd go to the back of the line again. He'd warned me that would be the case. So I crossed my fingers and let them pave too long driveways and large parking pad next to an expensive pool deck. An assistant at my office paid them. On my returned I was shocked. Everything was perfect. No mess and not a blade of grass out of place. I would not have expected this level of care if I'd stayed home to be the straw-boss. Truly exceptional work. They say integrity is judged by what you do when nobody is watching. These guys proved to me that they have integrity.

AFS performed a foam repair on our driveway that was settling and cracked. We were already planning…read moreon getting an in ground pool in our backyard and asked AFS if we should repair the driveway prior to that project, or wait until after (since there would be heavy machinery using the driveway). We were told "it will be ready for interstate traffic in 15 minutes" and that it was fine to do prior to the pool project. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves how it held up. The real issue is that AFS has said our driveway will need to be excavated and re-poured (obviously), but their offer is to refund our money for the foam repair and we pay them for a full driveway re-do. The contract states, "contractor guarantees stability of project". It obviously wasn't done right to begin with and now they want us to pay for it. That's not how you do business.
