After "diagnosing" another "they couldn't fix" the cart…read more I was told it needed a new wiring harness that was no longer available and the batteries were shot and needed to be replaced. First of all, the batteries were only 18 months old and the wiring harness is available from 7 different online suppliers. There was no real attempt to repair my cart. I paid my $95 diagnostic fee and brought the cart to Keith's Kartz in Bogalusa, La. He diagnosed it with a bad controller and repaired the broken wire that was on the wiring harness and replaced controller. Total 768.98 instead on getting a new cart suggested by Bayou Buggies. I don't trust them.

I had two golf cart repairmen(parts changer) look at the cart before Justin and neither one of them had any idea what was wrong. The first repairman(parts changer) told me I would need a new rear end, new motor and new wiring harness. That estimate was more than the value of the cart! The second repairman just didn't know what was wrong. Justin's many years of experience and caring attitude got to the bottom of the problem. Turns out the repair was simple once Justin diagnosed the problem. The cart now is like new! Runs powerfully and quietly. Better than ever! The Dixie Golf Association offers a public golf course that seems quite popular in the area. I…read moredon't have time to play golf but I do have time to eat and fortunately this place has Edgar's Steakhouse which is one of the handful of restaurants in the Laurel, MS area that offers a more fine dining experience. The Laurel Country Club is about the only other spot I know of that does anything similar in the area. Edgar's is well known for their steak and they also offer a nice Sunday Brunch/Lunch experience. So far Edgar's has had the absolute best service I've had at any of the area restaurants in the area. My last couple of visits the experience has been less stellar than the first few visits I made so perhaps something has changed and it does seem some of the staff have turned over. They do have an event venue here as well that is sometimes used and they do have a bar as well that is a bit hidden away if you don't know where to look so make sure to ask if you can't find it. Overall this is your best bet in Laurel, MS for a steak and this is about as close to fine dining as you will find in this area.
