New Holland (i35/Waterloo) knows what they are talking about. Quickly got my mower in for service…read moreand returned in one business day. Kim was friendly and knowledgeable to walk me through preventative maintenance questions. Overall, a great experience.

I had issues with my TZ24DA in the transmission. Of course when I loaded it up on the trailer,…read moreeverything seemed to be operating OK, but I knew there was a problem in the unit. Took it in, knew it would be at least a month or more before they could even look at it. OK. With a hydrostatic transmission, fluid is important. They recommended all the fluids be changed. I somewhat hesitantly agreed knowing this would be roughly $800 as estimated. After they were done, they said the problem was still there. I figured it would be. They told me the cost to just break the tractor down to the transmission and then back; $3000. That doesn't include fixing the issue in the transmission and the labor. I rejected the additional work and decided to do the labor/repair on my own. I had a few options. When I went to pick up the tractor and was told the cost was $1041, I was a bit surprised, and a little disgusted. "They had to put things back together." After I paid the fee, I just happened to start talking to one of the Techs as another was bringing the tractor out. When he figured out the small tractor was mine, he showed me a small piece of metal that he pulled out of the filter area. This was the first time I heard of this detail. After thinking on this a couple days, I called back to the Service. I asked after the Tech found a small piece of metal in the transmission, obviously knowing something was broke inside, why would you put a $100 worth of oil in and two new filters on the unit when it obviously has to be taken apart to be fully repaired? "Well, we couldn't move it without the oil in it, to see if it worked" was the response, or something very close to that. My opinion, at the point of finding a piece of metal in the transmission that obviously shouldn't be there, at least at the bottom of the transmission, you stop any more progress and call the customer. You know at that point the transmission has to be opened up. A small tractor can be moved and even loaded on a trailer without being under it's own power. Now I will not only have to purchase new parts needed (expected), but I will have to pay for more oil and filters as I'm not re-using filters/oil with small pieces of metal from the damaged PTO clutch assembly. Although they are the local dealer, not going back there for the PTO clutch assembly I need to do the real repair. Won't be going back for anything. With the second call, I gave them a chance to remedy the problem!

Terrible customer service and faulty equipment. Rented a lift for a week. Bounced and pulled all…read moreover the place towing it to location. Found out the tires were grossly overinflated and not meant to bear the weight of that equipment. This is a very unsafe situation and could cause a major accident if one of those tires blows during transport. Had the lift for a couple days and it starts running bad. It would shut down and not stay running. Called Crossland and was basically told I had to pay for a service call or tow the lift back myself to switch out for another. This is their bad equipment and apparently it's on me to get a replacement or pay for them to come to me. I was not offered extra time for all the time that was wasted nor was I offered anything else to compensate for this mess. I do not recommend renting equipment from this place!

We came to Crosslands to rent a large piece of construction equipment for some DIY landscaping…read more These were the guys another rental company suggested, since we needed the machine to be delivered. The good: It was a very quick and easy process. Called in the morning, got the tractor shortly after, used it for a day then had them pick it up the next day. Simple. The tractor worked great and did exactly what we needed it to do (it also made my husband giddy as a little boy to drive a construction vehicle around). The reason for -1 star: first, the payment. The guy helping us out had trouble with calculating what to charge us, taking into account our deductible. We later had to call and get them to process all of the deductible. Their customer service was awesome and quick to resolve. But if we wouldn't have caught that, would they have? I don't know. Second, the kid who dropped the tool off had some trouble with the trailer. It ended up damaging our driveway by knocking some concrete off. I can't really say anything negative about Crosslands with that, because we didn't report it. I was hoping the driver would let them know, but not a big deal. These little things, though, are why I gave them 4 stars. I would highly recommend if you are looking for construction equipment and need it delivered.
