Following the tornado of May 6, 2015, and subsequent extreme hail damage 2 days later, I was in need of a new roof (among many other items). I contacted David Fries Roofing, and was put in touch with Michael. My roof wasn't an emergency; there were many people in Norman with leaks or worse that were in far greater need than I was of a new roof. So, I elected to wait a few weeks to have my roof done. When it was time, Michael emailed me (I didn't have to bother him or remind me) to set up the work. The guys were out there in 2 days, and they didn't come at the crack of dawn, which I greatly appreciated. They were there for 2 days, and were very thorough cleaning up after they left. Additionally, when the lawn was mowed, they asked that I contact them so they could come and look for additional nails they may have missed during the clean up. The roof looks fantastic. Finally, they came within the quoted price. David Fries has been in business in Norman for many years now, and although this is only my first experience with him and his employees, I can understand why. Hopefully you're never in need of roof repairs or an entirely new roof, but if you are, I can't imagine a better experience than what I had with David Fries Roofing. Very highly recommended.

Sentry was a company I had heard of but never had any business with so I wasn't sure what to expect because I knew they'd be busy, as we were obviously not the only people affected by the storm. Not to mention, I live about an hour from Norman where they're based out of. Blake answered the phone and surely heard the desperation in my voice (can't sell a tornado damaged home!). He had one of his foreman at my house THAT DAY to assess the damage and estimate what it would take to repair. Very quick and very responsive. Here's where Blake separated himself from the other contractors I spoke with... after insurance had their inspector come out they tried skimping out on us big time. I was given a laughable report! 40 shingles, 12 sq ft of siding, yada yada.. I'm no roofing expert but from the ground with the naked eye I knew that wasn't accurate. Blake was completely honest and transparent from the get go. He assured me I needed a complete roof replacement (which I had already thought myself) and that there was much more damage that needed addressing. A thorough professional in my eyes. He took it upon himself to help deal with the insurance company and get another inspection done with his guidance. The tone seemed to change afterwards and we were scheduled for all our repairs immediately. I will do my best to remember to update this review with pictures after the repairs. Thank you Blake! I've had them replace a…read morestrip of shingles that came loose in a storm, they fixed a bad leak around a vent pipe, and recently they replaced my entire roof with a high-quality hail-resistant roof, along with repairing a rotted soffit. We just went through one of the worst snow-storms in decades, and my new roof appears leak-free. They also did some nice things I did not expect, such as painting all my vent-pipes to match the roof, along with straightening a crooked vent-cover that had been knocked out of place by a huge windstorm. Also, I did not know they did soffit repair until they came out, and the team that did it did a beautiful job. They had to special order one so it took a few days. I called on Monday and we made an appointment for me to come in and drop the vehicle off at 9:00 AM on that Friday. I was told it would take about 3 hours. Well, I got a call at 10:30 that my vehicle would be ready at 10:45. I couldn't be happier with the results, and they were able to transfer my Pike Pass as well, so did not have to deal with the hassle of losing that. Very pleased and would recommend Binswanger to anyone needing vehicle glass repair or replacement. Hopefully I do not need to return soon but I certainly will not hesitate if I have another issue.

Problem is, after waiting for over 3 months to get them to get my moms roof done, we told them their services were no longer needed and moved on with a different company. After the initial claim was filed and insurance paid, all they ever did was keep coming out to take more and more pictures of the inside of her house, which was not part of the original claim, it was a building code for the decking that was the issue and several times they came out to take more pictures in the attic of the decking as well. What they did with the initial pictures is beyond me. I finally called mom's insurance company to find out what the hold up was only to find out no other paper work or contact had been initiated by Validated. That is when we told them we had enough, that was a month ago and Validated is now calling to ask how the job is going? They do not communicate within the company, with insurance companies nor with their clients.
