This purchase was for my now 21 year old son's birthday. They do have a good bit of jewelry, but the firearms business is booming. The employee who helped me said their main supplier has been told to just ship them whatever he gets because demand is so high. Ammunition sales only go to whomever purchases a firearm, so I purchased 60 target rounds, also at a reasonable price. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. Also, there is a shooting range option if you wish to try out the firearm. Great service! Minimal selection due to current demand, but that is understandable.

It has never given me any issues. Recently, we paid a couple of visits to sell some odds and ends just to make a few bucks. I honestly was a bit skeptical because usually pawn shops are pretty picky when it comes to buying items... But so far, this is the ONLY pawn shop in the area that doesn't rip you off. They give you your money's worth, and usually give you what you're asking. If not, they make an amazing deal with you. The staff are wonderful, knowledgeable and understanding. I'm so glad we made the choice to sell to Hickory Pawn! I'm not the only person extremely satisfied though, my husband, my aunt, my mother in law, and my dad all FOUR love this pawn shop!
