I finally called and told them I would pick up in a couple weeks when needed. Today I tried calling about a new prescription, the lady who answered was quite rude. I called back to speak directly with the pharmacist, I was put on hold for 7 1/2 minutes then hung up on. I called right back and was never connected with the pharmacist, after another 5 1/2 minutes of holding, I hung up. Needless to say, tomorrow I will have a new drug store. The medication is given to the cat orally and the flavoring helps mask the taste. The pharmacy called almost immediately after the veterinarian called it in. They could have it ready for pickup Monday the 13th. I prepaid over the phone so I could just run in and grab it. When I arrived I decided to look around the store. Inside they had a section for soda fountain and candy, a gift and sport fan item section, some locally made items. At the back of the store is the pharmacy, and it has an outside drive thru option. The pharmacy had my cats prescription ready to go. Items I noticed which I feel a business should keep up on since it is something a customer sees before ever entering. The outside had quite a few weeds. The handicap spot had a big pile of dirt in it which when it rains would be mud. A nice little pharmacy overall. Friendly employees who were very helpful.

He said no they would start delivering around 11 and had about 10 deliveries to do and they needed a signature. I told him I understood but that I was trying to lay down before they got here. He cut me off to tell me no that they needed a signature. So I said "sir I understand what you're saying I'm just trying to lay down because I have Covid and I don't feel good I'm not asking for special treatment just a text to let me know y'all are close, so I can be ready to sign." He cut me off to tell me they would ring the doorbell and leave if no one answered. Again I told him "you cannot access my doorbell from the road and I have dogs." Walgreens Pharmacy Personnel Customer Service and efficiency Sucks!…read moreI had never made or said a negative comment about anyone's customer service, but these people went over board. Anyone can make a mistake, own it and move on. We, after all, are humans. I placed a prescription to be filled. Walgreens called me when it was filled. I went a couple of days later. I was told that it needed to be filled out, I was surprised but ok, I waited. 1 1/2hr Was told that the new card for 2024 was invalid or not activated. That they were calling insurance offices to confirm, that perhaps I should come back another day. I was there, the tech was not calling anyone!! total lie!!!. There is only one insurance office to call. What actually happened: Walgreens made the mistake of filling out the wrong med.! Instead of saying the wrong med was filled out, they gave me the reason that the Insurance Card was not activated and to come back another day. (I had called insurance company from home to make sure all would be set) I went to my car and called insurance company again and that's when the insurance company told me that the wrong med was filled and that is why the Insurance company declined the authorization. It was too soon for that particular med to be refilled. Insurance company called in my behalf to straighten it out and the Pharmacy Tech, declined to answer the phone calls claiming she was too busy. I WAS THERE , SHE WAS NOT THAT BUSY to answer the phone and have the matter cleared. A manager with a sour attitude came out shouting at me that they were filling out the correct prescription.. I'm an educated person, I resented how this manager addressed me. Obviously her team's attitude reflects hers. By now 3 hours had elapsed. I walked out without any med. I do not recommend this pharmacy. BEWARE! Apparently their parents forgot to teach them, kindness, empathy for the sick , and honesty.
