It was a welcome change when we went into Boolchand's and met Gary Sharma. Gary was very knowledgable and helpful. He spent considerable time with us so we could decide what we wanted and then put together a terrific deal for us to buy the jewelry we selected. My advice would be skip the rest of the myriad of stores in St Thomas and go straight to Boochand's and ask for Gary.

We had 2 quesadilla platters and a platter of the flank steak sliders. Both selections were DEElicious! Quesadilla platters came with a couple of dipping sauces, admittedly I don't recall what they were (probably because of the 4 pitchers of rum punch we had delivered as well!) But they were equally excellent! Sliced flank steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare and the buns soft&fresh. Having their platter service upon arrival was an ideal choice after traveling 8 hours! Took the stress out of searching for a restaurant or going to the market after an exhausting day of travel! A couple days later we had the privilege of Chef Colin coming to our villa to prepare a 4 course dinner for us. Other than a couple suggestions from us, we pretty much left the menu selection up to him. And once again, spot on DEElicious! Ceviche, lobster bisque, and a local fresh fish entree! First, the gentlemen who helped us was super knowledgeable of the multiple hook product lines, including rings and other jewelry. He was also so very sweet and talkative. We learned about how he ended up in St Thomas and thoroughly enjoyed our shopping experience with him! The selection here is really vast. I originally came in set on the idea of getting the most simple version of this bracelet: silver, no frills. But I'd be lying if I said I didn't consider my options once I was being shown around the pins, rings, earrings, and bracelets--all with different designs, metals, and such. But ultimately, I went with my original, simple choice, and the quality was amazing. Fast forward to this year and I have somehow lost my bracelet. But, luckily for me, I see you can actually order them via their online store, as well!
