You can tell that every detail on each plate was intentional and thoughtfully done. The standout dishes for me were the elote ribs, which were unreal, the grilled octopus cooked perfectly tender, and the ceviche con leche de tigre, which was bright, fresh, and packed with flavor. But the real star of the night was the whole branzino absolutely phenomenal. And for dessert? Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of the options. The host confirmed the reservation and I saw it on her tablet screen. I also showed her the confirmation email we had. Despite this, she told us we would need to wait 30 minutes for a table. No apology or acknowledgement that this was an inconvenience. This was both surprising and upsetting, given that we had a confirmed reservation. The host revised her estimate to say it might be 15-30 minutes. Unfortunately, the behavior of both the host and the server she pulled in to assist her was unprofessional and inhospitable. They were condescending in their explanation, stating that we had to wait due to "previous reservations" and suggesting that we should be happy to wait. This was especially upsetting since a large party without a reservation had already been seated ahead of us and no matter how much we tried to explain our frustration, the staff was not interested in hearing us out. I fully understand that mistakes happen, but I found the staff's dismissive and rude behavior to be unacceptable.
