To make matters worse, the store owner then asked her to deliver a fruit basket for another customer, which was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. The arrangements also did not match what was advertised on the website: The Peace ~ Joy ~ Noel Holiday Centerpiece was shown with three red candles, but the arrangement only had one white candle and significantly more greenery than expected. The Season's Greetings Arrangement also looked different from the photos online. Overall, this experience was stressful and disappointing, especially given that this was a Christmas gift sent between sisters. Delivery was not honored, and the products did not reflect what was advertised. I would not order again unless delivery reliability and accuracy improve.

They will take your money and not care about the quality of goods and services they provide.

What I really loved about this shop is that they worked with all of our requests and took their time to make the best arrangement possible which turned out to be a collection of live fully grown multi colored orchids in a basket which could could be later planted. All of my questions and concerns were swiftly answered by Sara over the phone (I didn't have to even go to the shop) and they also do delivery for orders which was so convenient. Other flower shops on island have sooooooo many restrictions for delivery times/days, special requests, and add astronomical charges for different things but everything we ordered was one flat rate and it was done up perfectly. Flower arrangements on St. Thomas are expensive in general because everything has to be shipped in. If you're going to be spending a lot on one of these arrangements select forever flowers.

Our big day was December 10, 2022 and I started working with Michelle & Mary Kay in August/September and they were very responsive to my request. After discussing my budget and wishes, they sounded like a great fit. We communicated back and fort via email from then until December 9, before we were to meet for the first time. We arranged for Hair, Makeup, flowers and photos and for the ceremony to take place on the point where we did it the first time. I made my payments through PayPal and agreed upon a time to meet for the prep work. The ceremony was at 2 pm. They got to the room at around noon if I remember correctly and she did a fabulous job with my hair and makeup finishing just in time for the photos and to walk to the point. We took pictures walking from the condo to the point, on the point and then walking in the ocean. It was great. We had an excellent time on my budget. I would recommend Island wedding services for your island wedding needs, but specifically if you need a more a la carte menu of services versus a "wedding package" which with all the other vendors, it was just too much $$$$ and had so many things included that I just didn't need. Also the planets were in perfect alignment 12.11.21 (LITERALLY)! How cool is that? Invited 118 people, 75 RSVPd, 45 came! They say only 30% show to a destination wedding. So how much does it cost to have a destination wedding? We didn't have any rich family members to fund our wedding, so we planned and saved accordingly. Our initial budget was 20k we spent about 30k. I used the knot budget planning app. Those figures include our outfits, honeymoon, flights,transportation, yacht party. Premium dinner & Premium open bar. Photography, videographers, and floral. Ceremony & Recepption Villa Norbu is to die for. We toured the island a year prior and fell so in love we canceled all of tours. Unfortunately, if you have a later wedding it gets dark and you can't see the true magic of it for that long. The food was top notch and so was the staff. We had lamb & lobster among other things. Our ceremony was at lindquist beach. In December while still in the 80s it's their winter so you will see some seaweed. It was also a little windy which helped us stay cool in the heat. Island Bliss Weddings Review Great communication with Janelle & Scotts officiating was top notch! He weaved our story together beautifully. I cry every time I play the video (you can watch them on my IG @TherapyWithAsh I didn't realize we didn't pay for Janelle to coordinate until it was too late. Our wedding coordinator for the day didn't seem to be comfortable with our group. Idk if they didn't like giving directions or what? But no one knew what to do ...and then the coordinator would come to me confused. I asked if they told our guest what to do, they looked at me dumbfounded, and then I or my husband would give a direction and it was done. I didn't understand why they couldn't just talk to our guest and give directions! I.E. after the ceremony everyone was supposed to go to the cocktail party. The bridal party stayed behind for beach photos. But the guest never left and the transportation waited. The wedding coordinator simply had to tell them to get on the bus. But instead the wedding coordinator came to me and I had to direct people to get on the bus and go! Same thing before the ceremony. No one was sitting down and the wedding coordinator came to us and we had to pass the message for people to sit down. I was pulled in every direction. Literally being pulled: from the wind; to take this photo; do this; do that; and I never knew how chaotic a wedding would be! I did enjoy sitting down to eat and listening to speeches! We used DJ Dell his rates were the best on island. But he messed up some transitions and needed reminders. I think he was tired that day to be honest cause I met him on zoom THREE times! He legit forgot to play the song my husband was supposed to walk down to then remembered. Overall I'm happy we did it!
