I inquired about a water pipe through the online chat, EJ answered and was always very helpful. He was more than willing to send me pictures of what he had. I asked EJ to hold a piece that he had in stock. There was a grinder that I wanted that EJ tried ordering but with COVID it ended up taking too long to get it. Even though the exact grinder I wanted didn't work out EJ still held the piece for a few weeks in the back for me and I still got a great deal on another grinder that was in the shop to go along with the piece I got. Overall my experience was extremely positive and I felt like EJ was very patient and not just pushing to make a sale. Thank you! So I moved to the Madison/McClellan area less than several months ago. My Smoke shop in Elk Grove would never have allowed this, but it's my fault for trying a local shop, with a no return policy that you don't find out until after the fact. I can't exchange a my dads "Handy" brand defective box & I've been consistently lied to, by the manager/salesman on duty whose there frequently. My friend asked me to purchase an CCell capable "Aries Vaporizer" box, while he was at work one day and I did. My friend was happy with the Aries & my father, tried this & was wanting one, as he suffers from severe PTSD and Alzheimer's symptoms due to his service & he has trouble communicating or knowing if a good deal is really a good deal. So I purchased my friend his "Aries" vaporizer box right 1 week before Veterans day & went back w/ my dad to get another Aries, right before Veteran's day.. The Salesman was the same man during both visits. He said there was no Aries in stock or rather he did not know when he'd be getting any. I said I'd wait for an Aries, but pushed for me to try "Handy Brand" & guaranteed it would be effective. My dad has since tried to get the "handy" brand to work since he was Pushed Into buying it, as he expected it to be a fully functional model When me and my father went in to exchange 4 days later, they said they don't do exchanges OR (*RETURNS*) and they'd be able to give me a deal on another model(if I wanted to get another). I'm currently waiting for the Owner to contact me, but it seems this place doesn't care about veterans or their customer's satisfaction. This is absolutely unacceptable service, on ANY LEVEL. The salesman said he didn't recognize us even though I'd already seen him multiple times & he talked with us every time! Perhaps we were an inconvenience at that point? Unless this is remedied by ownership ASAP, I would RUN from this establishment. Shame on you for taking advantage of a 61 year old disabled veteran who was seeking tools to help him improve his mental mental symptoms! He only wants an exchange this for a working model! Do not go to this place! I've been a loyal customer and there's a white guy with reddish hair who is awesome and works with you, but they hired some new guy who is young and has dark hair and he was so rude to me. I asked for a vape that you can change the smoke voltage and without even looking he said they had none. I asked are you sure because I was here two days ago and the other guy showed me a ton- is that guy or the owner here? He then says oh yeah we've got only this one. I took it just to get out because I was getting weird vibes. I paid double what I normally do and the next day the fucking pen in out?! I love this place! This where I bought my first MFLB and a couple if accessories for it at a great price. The owner here is great and gave me killer deal on my first glass piece. Just last night the dog knocked it over and needles to say I was heartbroken. I went back to get another glass piece to tide me over until I can afford another piece. The owner gave me another great deal and I found out that they can do some repairs if the breaks are clean. The Coolest thing was they support local glass blowers and several of their pieces were from local blowers. Bottom line they have a great selection and are always friendly. Ok well normally this place is legit, but I went to just grab a bowl and dap stick. When I got home the bowl didn't fit in my piece ( not like I have anything less then scientific lazer cut glass) so I tried a few others pieces still no fit. When I brought it back cause normally they would exchange since It was there fault for selling junk. They told me some bs, I payed 68 for the 22 dollar stick a 3 dollar case so even if It was full price for them that leaves 43 for the bowl they told me that all they would do is 40 store credit. After buying junk that time it doesn't make me want stuff from there. They already made money off the first sale then to not give me my money back in total, and make me buy more from them where there gonna make profit again just seemed a little shady. Honestly I went to a lil shop near me and spent $21 out the door for the same bowl that actually fit in my glass. Needless to say I will shop around from now on this place is no longer a customer friendly!! Shop, and even though they suckered me out of pocket change. It's the principal of the matter.
