They didn't have what I was looking for but the employees were helpful in getting me something comparable to my usual choice. I'm excited to try it and see if it'll work for me. The layout of this location is exactly like the one from our area (the other location was setup a little differently) which made me feel at home. I greeted the gentleman kindly, apologized in advance for a possibly strange question that I'd be asking, then asked him if he had any nicotine-free vapes/smoking cessation devices. (I have been clean of all nicotine products for about 2 weeks and was having a rough morning but did not want to "relapse"). The gentleman asked me in response, "How the hell would I know anything about that? This place is only for people who smoke." He then gestured to a glass case he had been leaning over, "This is all I would have," and there was perhaps one or two (nicotine) vapes in there. I then said, "Thanks, you have a great rest of your day," and left the establishment. Several points to address here: 1. Who else would know about the items stocked within South Street Cigar & Spirits, if not the gentleman working the register? "How the hell would I know that?" just doesn't seem like a good phrase for a retail worker's vocabulary when the stock is in front of you & Google is free. 2. Does this gentleman perhaps just have an issue with women? I don't want to reduce it down to simplicities, but sometimes simple-minded folks pick simpler targets. It appears that in nearly every Yelp review, the men who come to this establishment are treated fine, but the women are spoken down to and generally have a very unpleasant experience. Interesting..... 3. Thank goodness KDPS was already called into the store so it could be made sure that the unhoused gentlemen (who was not bothering anyone) had to move, instead eating his lunch on the empty bench in front of the store. Super cool to have to officer just stand there while worker/clerk/owner dude was a complete ass to me as well. Truly a heinous experience and I hope that officer and the gentleman who was working in this shop have the days they deserve :)

They didn't have the vape juice I usually use but I was able to grab 7 of the coils I needed. The employees were helpful and we got in and out quickly. Prices were as expected and we ended up spending less than $30 which is good. We will probably be back when our local store is out of stuff like usual.

I wasn't aware the store location is accustomed to selling stale products. I got all the way home opened the package to find that all five wraps were bone dry, just taking them out caused them to crack and they were full of slits and holes. Had this been a $1.50 2pack it would be no big deal but I paid $10.59 in total for a product I couldn't use. I was unaware of their no return/exchange policy. I went back to the long haired gentleman that sold me the wraps and he began to search through the box as if to feel for a fresh pack as well as check the date. While he's assisting me a dark haired pudgy young white woman with a headband comes from the back smiling stating, "we have a shitty policy unfortunately there is nothing we can do." Me not comprehending that these individuals expect me to just throw $10 away on something I can't use I ask for a number to corporate in which she told me to take it up with the cigar company. I demanded to speak with someone higher up in which she said she was the highest point of demand. Not only were the police called and she banned me from the store, (a store I have patronized for at least 5yrs) I ended up out of my money. I have contacted corporate on the matter because the way the situation was handled was completely unprofessional. That's not how you conduct business. How is it okay to charge and sell products that are stale and can't be used then offer no exchange or money back? So I recommend you open the package to make sure the product is fresh prior to leaving. This whole situation was ridiculous and I truly believe the ppl that were working there at the time get off on banning ppl from the store and laugh at ppl wasting their money on products that aren't properly stored and rotated out. I filed a formal complaint, and made an incident report. Won't get away with treating ppl like that.

I now haven't had a cigarette in about 3 months. As a former two pack a day smoker for over 15 years this is a pretty big deal to me. The staff (I wish I could remember the guy's name who helped me out the first time because he was good) is knowledgable and very helpful. They all use their own products so they have a lot of thoughts about them to share. They have a TON of samples out so you can try different flavors before you buy them which is definitely helpful especially if you aren't very experienced. They have a membership point system which has already gotten me a free bottle, a discounted item section, and even a claw machine game where you can win discounts, items, and other freebies. I was able to win a free sample pack of bottles in it. I don't know if I'll ever really embrace the vapor subculture but it's gotten me off cigarettes and is a lot cheaper too! Would recommend this place if you're looking to make the switch off of tobacco and not sure where to start. It's worked for me and I was amazed at how quickly I moved off of cigarettes full-time.
