This shop is at the two mile point of my regular evening walk. I stop in to get cigars from their amazing, well maintained and properly humidified selection. I never feel rushed and as a flakey libra it can take me awhile to make up my mind. I also get something to drink like water or diet coke or something with no sugar (I am forced into the no carb thing). They always keep it stocked for me because the woman behind the counter, Megan, pays attention to what I like or want. She's always so calming and nice to everyone and she's just a cool person. They also have everything that you'd ever need in the way of pipes and other smoking accoutrements. I love a good neighborhood shop--this is that place. I recommend it!! read more

This shop is the BEST place to buy cigars. They're always fresh and they take excellent care of their humidor. The girl that works there is pretty knowledgeable about all the products they have, the first time I came in she helped me pick out a couple cigars (Romeo y Julieta, Arturo Fuente) because I was looking for something mild-medium and she absolutely nailed it. I used to go to Vendome, but humidor in Smoke Shop is so much bigger (you can actually walk around in it) and they have a way wider selection in their humidor. My go to place for cigars. read more

Cool looking shop. Bad business. It doesn't matter how nice your humidor is if you don't know how to operate it. I'll happily pay the higher price for a good cigar but expect a product the store owner stands behind. I returned (at least tried to return) a corona that was completely dried out. I had my receipt, it was the next day and I hadn't cut the cigar - yet they stuck to the hand written sign "No returns. No exchanges. No reason." I was stunned. The very next day and a receipt! Ok so I went to this smoke shop to get a water pipe. I went around looking at all the different selection, not the best selection, but definitely not the worst. I asked to see a pipe In The glass and the guy just said to just open the screen myself. The salesman wasn't very involved with me at all, he was much more interested in his dinner. So I Finally pick a water pip but I don't like the bowl piece that it came with. I asked the guy if I can switch it out with one of his hundreds of different other bowls pieces. He said he would have to charge me to switch it out... WHAT?? Since when have I or any of you been charged EXTRA to switch out an unwanted bowl piece. Please tell me.. I have never in my life in purchasing pipes( I have been to countless shops) has someone wanted to charge me extra to switch out a bowl. Like wow.. I will never come here again. Epic fail. read more

Just don't. The last time I went here I swore I wouldn't go back. But I did today because my favorite shop was closed and I just needed a small item. Bad idea. I chose the item I needed. A $5 item. I handed it to the guy while I looked around. I found another item that I decided to get, $15. So I went from spending $5 to $20. That's a good customer! That's what businesses hope for! I pay him and he gives me my bag. I get home and the specific item I needed wasn't in the bag. I call him and he says "You didn't take it with you. It was on the counter." What? The answer should have been "I'm sorry! I forgot to put it in the bag." When a customer comes in for a specific item, you don't let them walk out without it! He tried to smooth it over and backpedal but he's just a jerk. Oh and the item I needed uses screens which it didn't come with and he wasn't even smart enough to up sell me. read more

Drove from Studio City just to go to this specific shop, used to be our favorite. Got there only to see a hand written sign taped to the door to say they were closed until 3pm. It was just after 2pm. Clearly they don't need money or customers. Will go elsewhere to give merchants my money. Would have been nice if we knew why it was closed: family emergency, out to lunch, but it said closed. The Smoke Shop was a place for me to go to while I was waiting to get my oil changed at the Jiffy Lube (wait till you read that review) and I was hankering to move about so I saw this place. Like the previous review, very nice looking, colorful, decent humidor with a great variety of cigars, but when you feel them you know that they are a little on the dry side. But alas a good price and a good humidor at home makes that a decent smoke. The guy was nice enough, offering me matches and having a little small talk, but I felt like I was being watched as if I was going to steal something. . . . Well i walked out with 2 cigars and took them home to my humidor. They're still there but I know that when its time they'll be great. So other than the weird looks this place is allright. They also sell cigarettes, TONS of pipes, and a bunch of random smoke accessories and a few really really cool lighters :D Enjoy. read more

This place is NEVER OPEN!! I live a few blocks away and like this place bc they have the rolling papers I love to use. Not sure what's been going on lately but the last few times I've gone, they've been closed a couple hours before their actual closing time. Don't waste your time, plenty of smoke shops around to choose from. Here's a tip guys: if you want to make money and be an actual business, maybe be open so you can actually have customers. Came here looking for a disposable cutter when flying in for my brother in law's wedding. The place was easy to find and was a decent size shop with a decent general selection. The guy working was friendly enough and greeted me when coming in. They had a great general selection from vape things to glass pipes. The walk-in humidor's cigar selection was fair with only a few nicer selections. The only things that prevented this place from getting a higher review from me are mainly the limited cigar selection and the high concentration of glass pipes with little concentration anything else. read more

This place has a huge assortment of smoking accessories. Pricing is pretty steep though. I wouldn't know about the cigars though.

Pretty good location, it's nice and clean and has a decent selection of accessories and the humidor is nice, but that's where the happiness ends. Some of the cigars end up being dry and craked and the rest are over humidified. There is a sign at the counter that says no returns for any reason...I now know why. Other cigar stores that I have frequented have always returned cigars if you get any that aren't any good (by the way, I don't return cigars very much at all - I think I have only done it once and that was a long time ago) and that's because a good cigar store owner knows how to maintain a humidor, and though getting a cigar that is dry or wrapped to tight will happen sometimes it doesn't happen all the time. I've given this place a chance by purchasing several cigars and every one has disappointed me. I belong to a cigar club that is made up of entertainment professionals and when we get together, I like to enjoy my smoke as much as I enjoy the company I'm with This is the last cigar I get from this place. read more
