This is my local shop and I come here frequently. Today I bought two elfbars and they were BOTH defective and/or fake. I got a kiwi passion fruit guava and it would not hit. Would not take a charge, nothing. They were able to offer a replacement. I also got a watermelon skittlez that gets stuck and (loudly) sizzles, right out of the box. Sounds like it was trying to catch on fire. They were not willing to replace and scoffed that they were doing me a favor in the first place. Dude also said they are supposed to sizzle loudly. DO NOT BUY ZYNS HERE! I have been buying them here for a nearly a year. It was my go to shop. A few days ago I went in and bought them and they are FAKE! From the outside they look real, but when you open them you can instantly tell. They are yellow tinted and moist. They also smell strong of the flavor you get. Anyone that uses Zyns know that the pouches are always white and dry. Lastly you can use the code in the back of the can and input it on Zyns official website and it will not work. I brought my family here because it was the closet place to where I lived and they purchased a battery on June 19 on June 30 exactly 10 days later the main magnet to the battery popped out the battery worked fine up until exchanging carts. Well, that blows. I've been coming to this shop since June 2023 since I moved to Burbank to work on a couple feature films. It's right in walking distance, so it's always nice to go up there and grab a cigar. Today was the first time when I went to go get a cigar, the young man working at the counter literally stood at the door of the humidor, with his arms open, blocking the door exit and waited for and watched me pick out my cigars. I even told him I came there often and this is the first time anybody's made me feel this uncomfortable by standing at the door while I was getting my cigars. He said it was cause they moved some vapes in there. They've had vapes and everything in that humidor since I've been going there since June so I don't know what excuse he was trying to make, but that just didn't sit right with me. I began frequenting my smoke shop when I began working for the city of Burbank way back in 2015. 5 years later and its still the only smoke shop I go to for my carton of cigarettes and my other smoking needs. I no longer work for city of Burbank, I still travel from the eagle rock, Glendale/Glassell park area to My Smoke Shop. Why?. because they are just that awesome. They always have my cigarettes at a reasonable price, at least I feel its reasonable and although they've never had a complete full carton of my brand these last few times, it still hasn't deterred me away. Every single staff person I have dealt with over these years have always been cool and courteous. i have never had any type of negative interaction with anyone that's has been employed there. If I could give 0 stars I would. I frequent this shop often. They sold me a faulty vape battery a week ago, brought it in and the guy looked at me like a criminal. I did not have a receipt so that is my bad but I was treated like complete shit. He wouldn't even entertain an exchange or discussion, as I said I am a frequent customer.
