Ok so here's the scenario, last night I dropped my vape and shattered the mouth piece. I ran by my local vape shop and they didn't carry a replacement. Later that day I happened to see a shop "smokers outlet" in the same shopping center my wife wanted to go to. So while she walked over to her store I ran over to check if "smokers outlet" had the mouth piece I needed for my vape. As I passed through the door I met with a welcome of "how can I help you?" I responded with my request of a Smok TV18 mouthpiece and was met with "we don't have this, you need to go to big vape shop, we are small why would you come to a small shop for such a thing". Now where I appreciate this gentleman's concern for where my head was at walking in such a pathetic looking shop, however a polite "sorry we don't carry that, how about you try (enter random local vape shop) right up the road." Would have sufficed. I will never step foot in smokers outlet again, not recommended, avoid at all costs. read more

Why does this place have so many "not recommended" 5 star reviews but somehow was only able to keep 2 1 star ones? Hmmm... Anyway, ever since my boyfriend and I lived in San Diego, we came to this location because it was closest to where we lived. It's right off Mission Gorge and Cuyamaca! The owner Brian is very nice and he always looks after his regular customers! After a year and a half of not being in San Diego, he actually remembered by boyfriend and I!!! Very amazing man. This store has a lot of everything in it. There's even a cigar room! There's a lot of different brands of shisha. Starbuzz, Furmari, Khalil Mamoons shisha, Boom (it's really good and I have yet to see it in a different shop) and more! He even sells some movies, shirts, and scratch cards. It's cool because the owner will do some deals on facebook so my boyfriend and I have even won a hookah from this store before! This store is in a great spot, the man is very loyal to his customers, and I will always come to this shop whenever I'm in San Diego! read more

I'm not even sure how to process what just happened a few moments ago. I stopped by this store to purchase an item. The store keep was a tall, middle eastern man with glasses, and a strong accent. I didn't catch his name. He was friendly enough before the transaction but as soon as the purchased item was back in my hand, he shouted in my face, "TRUMP! NO-GO, NO-HILLARY!" He did this without any prompting. We weren't talking about politics, and I wasn't wearing any sort of politically affiliated clothing. They have a great selection that includes just about anything you could ever want from a smoke shop. Well... I bought a torch here the other night on my way home from work, get home and try to use it and it instantly leaks out. I light it and it doesn't go out until the tank is empty so yup I had a lot torch just goin until it ended...was really safe. I instantly called the shop and spoke to BRIAN who acted like he took down my information so I could come the following day for a return. Of course he mentioned "uhh well it usually has to be the same day but it's almost closing so I guess tomorrow will be fine". So I go the next day and it's some old guy working...I tell him the situation and of course there's no note with my information from BRIAN. So this old guy sits there fucking around with the torch...hears the leak. Continues to fuck with it...tries to tell me it's fine. I told him I'd just like my money back and of course it's "no no we don't do returns maybe only exchange". So I'm like fuck it wow, I just pick a different brand....had to pay 8 more dollars and left. It works...sounds unlike the other same one I have which is weird. Won't be using this shop again unless it's a least resort for something. Oh and FUCK YOU BRIAN. Shops customer service sucks. read more

And I said that's weird because you have all these hukas, and he starts yelling at me about dogs and landlords and hukas aren't pipes, blah, blah, blah. Very weird encounter. read more

Smoker's Outlet in Santee is the perfect smoke shop! The owner was super friendly and knowledgeable about all of the products. I purchased a hookah and some tobacco and I got an awesome deal! The huge selection, clean set up, and sweet humidor full of cigars will definitely keep me coming back. read more

I frequent 9 cigars shops in San Diego and Smokers Outlet is the very worst of all. They are selling many counterfeit cigars. By the owner's admission, he states that "they open sample cigar packs(Cohibas which was the one the owner referenced when I spoke to him about unusual discrepancies I observed) and put the samples in tubes because nobody was buying the sample packs." This is a form of counterfeiting but this was not the issue I was confronting him about. I opened some cigars I bought after have really bad smoking experiences with the cigars I was buying from this store and found loose tobacco rather than an authentic cigar. I do not recommend buying any fine cigars from the place. The pricing is also high. For example, the Olivia sample pack of eight cigars this store sells for $70 plus dollars whereas the Cigar Cave sells it for $44 and a liquor store on mission bay dr sells it for $29. Finally, I have taken steps to report the counterfeiting practices of this store to federal authorities. read more

awesome place, they have tons of stuff and the guys that work here are always friendly and helpful. there was something I was looking for and they said they would order it for me, prices are great, only negative thing I have to say is "why didn't I find this place sooner lol" but no seriously this is an awesome place out of all the smokers outlet place I go here mostly every other day. clean, friendly/helpful staff good supply of pretty much everything. 5 stars isn't enough I rate 10. read more
