We visited twice during our trip to SD a few weeks ago. Really neat place and not at all like a typical liquor store. I was genuinely impressed with the selection and cleanliness of the store but, like most other reviewers, I am leaving a review based on the phenomenal staff. The guy we saw at the front both visits was extremeley knowledgeable and eager to help. He provided outstanding recommendations for beer and tequila; we really enjoyed his picks. I'm not a hard liquor drinker, but when I need a special gift , they are great about guiding me in my purchase.. and the price point is excellent. I went to preferred liquor store got my soda and my water for my dad was buying lottery and the person behind the counter even though I had cash in my hand was like you have to pay cash for that nasty!! So maybe a Sagittarius I told him that was rude And kind of tasteless I added that part though ! he tried to retort back that he wasn't being rude but , his toes that a different story, but I did set them straight first and last time I ever visit that store in my life and I will tell everybody I know not to go there!! We went to Oggis a couple days ago and had a great time. Amber was our server and she was Great. Very attentive. The food was also Great. The Full Cobb salad is my favorite. Never thought I'd be leaving a review for a liquor store, but here we are lol. This is hands down my favorite liquor store! It's a whole experience to shop here. When I first came in, I was looking for some sours & hazy IPA's from a specific brewery. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a friendly guy who was excited to show me around and talk about all the new beers they just got. He was very educated and helped me pick some great choices. I love that you cam mix/match and create your own 6 pack. It's like you get your own brewery experience at home. I brought my boyfriend here recently and he was like "Wow, why haven't you told me about this place sooner!" They have an incredible selection of breweries from all around the world, including our local spots. They also offer a 10% military discount. read more

$13 cigarettes. I'm all for local small business but when the worker doesn't volunteer the price and I have to ask for it, and then it ends up being Vegas prices, it makes that place seem shady. I'll stick to the 711 a block away with $10 cigarettes. read more

This place was such a good find! I live in Spring Valley but have been going out of my way to frequent this place because of their excellent craft beer selection. I found that this gem has quite a bit of hard-to-find beer and liquor. I was recently impressed to find that they had Wild Barrel! A personal favorite of mine which I have not been able to find anywhere in San Diego until now. DO NOT shop here--the clerks, especially the smarmy twit girl working there, are not honest, often overcharging customers.
