The menu is not overwhelming and lots of great choices of breakfast foods and lunch. We chose a beet, sweet potato, goat cheese and spinach quiche with a side of broccoli salad. I had a hot strawberry, moringa tea with rose. Our orders came out fresh and hot and they were delicious. The atmosphere is friendly and kind. It's not a huge thrift store, but it's very clean and fun to browse -- everything was well organized and they had a puzzle going on one of the tables that Ashley had fun finding a few pieces to. There was a pretty good assortment of knick-knacks, coffee mugs, jewelry, and a lot of sterling silver jewelry and even some gold stuff. No crazy deals on the silver & gold...most thrift stores have caught on that these things are actually worth something these days, but the prices were still reasonable for the pieces....if you need a nice piece of jewelry, it's certainly more affordable than going to a big box store. Ashley found a pair of shoes, and I think they only came to a few dollars - you can't beat it! If we were local, this is definitely a thrift store we'd add to our regular weekend shopping/browsing circuit. This small farm has a herd of almost 50 alpaca and one or two llamas. The owners have had to stop…read morebreeding alpacas due to the husbands health issues. He was feeding the herd when we arrived. You can visit and feed the alpacas. Peggy, his wife will give a brief talk about their animals. She has fleeces for sale if you want to spin your own yarn. They used to go to alpaca shows frequently but they can not travel anymore so they are keeping their herd healthy and happy. The alpacas are gentle and will roam around the fenced area with you. There is a small gift shop with alpaca yarn, mittens, hats, scarves, stuffed animals and small gift items including coloring books and key chains. There were many families with multi generations there to visit. They have picnic tables if you want to bring food. We had a lovely and fun 2 hr. visit and it is free.
