I cannot say enough good things about smoosh. The owners are incredibly kind, flexible, and diligent. You can't beat their price and their quality! All of my guests told me that smoosh was one of their favorite parts of my wedding! They have such fun, unique props that make for great photos! Another thing that really makes smoosh stand out is that they give the guests one photo strip, and then another copy of the photo strip is stuck in a book for guests to sign! I now have a book to cherish with photos of all my guests having the best time! Some other logistical details that I really appreciated: they let me hang a wooden sign in the back drop, and I had forgotten to give them instructions, and yet they figured it out on their own without bothering me on my big day! They are very good about planning their set up when you give them a floor plan. It is also very helpful that they have workers that take the photos, rather than having the guests having to figure out how to operate a machine. Their set up is a backdrop with the worker taking the photo with a camera, which allows for large groups to fit into the photos, as opposed to an enclosed two-person photo booth that you have to sit in. Best photobooth ever! My wife and I had the privilege to work with Smoosh. Everyone at our wedding loved the props that were used and the speediness/quality of the pictures printed. So what happens when you're getting married in a week and "OH CRAP!!! I FORGOT TO BOOK A PHOTOBOOTH!!!!" In comes the hero to save the day. We called Smoosh Photobooths a little over a week before the wedding and they gladly said that they would be able to accomodate our need. The best thing about it? Most vendors would gauge you for not having plans so late, but they were very understanding and completely accommodated us. +1 point for their honesty and not gauging. Let's move onto the pictures. Originally, we said "No props!!!" That was one of our one rules. After some talking, one of the head honcho's Gavin told us that it would help get people warmed up and it would definitely be a lot more fun with them. Thank goodness they brought the props anyways just in case. Our wedding guests LOVED the props and took a ton of pictures with them. One of our guests just sat in line and kept going over and over and over. Granted it was a 12 year old kid but still, it's so uplifting to see someone enjoy it that much. I have to admit, the quality of the print is just average. There is nothing really to set anyone apart in this department. Not until the invent some type of 3d holographic printing technology. But alas, we're not in the future so we can't have magical holograms. The Smoosh Booth Crew consisted of 3 people for us. All three were very professional and recognized who the key players were. When my grandmother, who couldn't walk or stand well showed up, they kindly asked the other guests if she could go first. Props to them for this. In the end, it was a great night and Smoosh Photobooth definitely contributed. The crew was extremely friendly and helpful and we even took a picture with them. Man, what's not to love? Annie and Gavin are some of the most genuine people you will ever meet. They are so professional and easy to work with and they make the wedding that much more fun! Smoosh Photobooth We used Smoosh Photobooth at our wedding this past summer. Gavin and his wife Annie were wonderful to work with. They are upbeat, personable and just make you want to smile. They were very professional the day of our wedding and helped organize the crowds and keep things running smoothly. There were a few hiccups during the wedding and things ran off schedule. However, Smoosh kept the photobooth open a little longer than planned and allowed us (bride and groom) to grab some shots so we could have some excellent memories =). We used Smoosh Photobooth at our wedding in May at the Citizen Hotel. Instead of the traditional guest book sign in, we asked our guests to take a picture in the photobooth and sign our scrapbook. It was a hit! Our guests took multiple pictures and utilized all of the props to take the funniest and cutest pictures. At the end of the day, Annie handed me a scrapbook of memories that my husband and I could look at because we were so busy saying hello to everyone. We were so glad that we hired them to take additional pictures for our guests. It was definitely worth every penny spent and their prices were very reasonable. Even though their photobooth can only fit 2 people seated, you could actually take pictures with more people by lifting up the cloth in the back. Their props were not the generic ones. They had a great selection and my favorite one is the ones are the skinny chicken hat and the turkey dinner hat. They also had a darth vader mask. Extra kudos because my husband is a Star Wars Fan! This photo booth was at my friend's wedding and it was a great experience. They have A LOT of props to work with so you can get your sticki picki game on. We took multiple photos throughout the night and it was fun to document the good time we were having at the wedding. I loved how older couples and even entire families were getting in on the action. All of the operators were very helpful and courteous in reminding us not to bring drinks in the booth and suggesting different ridiculous hats/masks/props for us to use in our photos. Using Smoosh for our June 2011 wedding was a really good decision. On the day of wedding, they set up early enough so that our guests had many opportunities to have fun in the booth. Though it appears to only hold 2-3 people in the photobooth at 1 time, we saw pictures with over 10 people, and our guests had a lot of fun side-busting on other people's pictures. The nice part of the whole deal was that Smoosh printed two sets of pictures on the spot, one set going to the guests, and the other set being glued into our photobook. Then guest were invited to write a personal message to us. It was great! In less than a month after the wedding, Smoosh sent us digital copies of the pictures and a video where guests offered us advice and they captures speeches from the night. Overall, Smoosh made the photobooth aspect of our wedding very easy. They are not a huge company but they offer very professional services and they were very willing to adapt to our needs. Our wedding last December was blessed with so many exceptional vendors, and Smooshbooth was definitely one of them. Everything they did exemplified going beyond what was expected. Examples of their service: 1. Traveled from Sacramento to the South Bay for us at no extra cost, and their overall prices were so reasonable. 2. Accommodated our very particular venue with no complaint, such as abiding by the arrival time, set up requirements, mailing in vendor contracts for us, etc. 3. Provided a simple and elegant scrapbook for guests to tape pictures and write messages in, giving us a hard copy to keep and saving us the effort. No extra cost, and so thoughtful!! They even asked for our wedding colors so the font color would match. 4. Brought a huge variety of creative props-- having been to quite a few weddings, I know what others provide. They also had black and white/color options, and, judging from multiple prints of the same people,it seemed like guests could take unlimited pictures. 5. Made sure my husband and I got a chance to take as many photos as we wanted (we realized how easy it can be for the bride and groom to miss out on activities at our own wedding), and they asked to jump in with us! 6.
