No diving boards and the water is 5 feet at deepest. They have a snack bar. There were more than a few dead bugs in the water. I also hear that they sometimes close the pool early but I think that's mostly near the end of the summer.

There are 12 spacious sites including 4 pull through and 8 back in that back up to the woods. Some have full hookup and some have electric, water. Free Wi-Fi, no cable but we get all local channels with our antenna. Up the hill at office is two bathrooms with shower and a washer/dryer. Average price is only $45 a night and certainly well worth it. It is located about 5 miles from Elkin and right in the middle of winery country. We proceeded on the quiet and peaceful Yadkin River with Tony covering safety guidelines and important information about the current conditions of the river. We started our birding while Tony watched the river alerting us to specific conditions, allowing us to focus more on birding. Tony also gave us information about locations popular with birds. During calm times, Tony gave us a history of the area and the Yadkin River. The highlight of the morning for all of us was watching the Belted Kingfishers interact with each other fishing along the way. The mid-morning break was a scene from a five-star dining experience. Ryann spent hours preparing a special breakfast for us. On a river island, she setup a table with a white linen tablecloth and food to satisfy any palette. After this filling rest stop, we continued on the river finding other birds including an Indigo Bunting. Again, Tony's support gave us the time to bird and soak in the beautiful surroundings. We finished our trip watching swallows dance around their mud homes. We are deeply grateful to Ryann and Tony for their efforts providing us with a memorable and magical trip. Bring friends and party the night away with adult beverages unencumbered in several beautifully landscaped and architecturally inspired planned parks and pickle ball. Attended one of the many live "Woodstock" styled free concerts and rub elbows with Joni Mitchel type rock stars. "The song to a Seagull" inspired me and my friend Gary to tears at the concert we attended. Love to rent there but pricey to buy. Unfortunately there is no community pool, nor playground for the kids. Further, the snack shack at the concert venue wasn't opened (built) yet and wanted a stone fired hemp-doe pizza. Incidentally, there was a moonshine still and green leafy plant grow operation which made it more authentic to the original Woodstock festival; in the end we all slept in tents adjacent the woods by the a community trail . Trail Magic was generously given by some fabulous owners whilst included my favorite 12 year old scotch. This is a gated community, so privileged privacy is assured and cameras are on the gates to insure rock star levels of security. and community have well paved roads meandering miles. Take time to drive the miles of paved private roadways through the picturesque and majestic mountains. Overall a great place to party like it's 1999 and play mountain golf.

Worth every penny, my kid had never enjoyed animals until this trip. The outdoor animals are in excellent comfort and clean areas. We fed goats and pigs. Then we went inside and saw Guinea pigs, rabbits, and a lizard! Phenomenal educational opportunity!! You do need a reservation for the animal tours and they have summer camp so call Ahead to make sure it's available. Parking is in the lot.
