As each and every serving is made right in front of your eyes, it's fresh. That means that the flavour is everything it could be. As it's frozen in seconds, it's also very smooth. That means that there's a velvety texture and a creaminess that you won't find in the tub at the bottom of your freezer. The Science: The liquid nitrogen rapidly creates miniscule ice crystals, quickly evaporating after coming into contact with the ice cream base. Liquid nitrogen boils at -196C, meaning that there won't be a trace of it left by the time you've given yourself brain freeze. Everyone was really friendly, but had no organisation or management skills. Not only did the cashier get my partner's drink order wrong, but the drinks came really slowly. For just a few drinks, it literally took 10 minutes, and that's not counting the wait for someone to come to the register and take our order. Upon closer inspection, it was 1 guy doing everything from making the drinks to dealing with the huge queue of customers. The other 2 employees there were busy chatting and organising / cleaning the station. Okay yeah I recognise that things need to be washed and cleaned, but when there's a LOAD of customers waiting for orders to be taken shouldn't the list of priorities change? My entire family runs on hospitality and normally the list of tasks changes depending on the situation. If there's a long queue of customers both at the register and waiting for their drinks, washing spoons isn't a f*cking priority, is it? --- Sorry for the angry rant but I'm really hoping this is an isolated incident so I can give Bubble Base their 4th star back. The serving area has got space for about 8 people max so it can get quite crammed. On offer is a long list of different flavours in the hard scooped ice cream then you're asked what topping you want - nuts, choc bits or my favourite, dipped in chocolate which then sets on your ice cream. I think they sell the whippy stuff but not sure as I don't ever have it. They do have a large cooler full of Cornettos etc which you can choose from. It's not expensive and we tend to go every day of the holiday if we're passing as it's so nice. Just don't go when I'm there as I don't like queueing.

Outside the shop on the wall there are pictures on a board with all the different ice cream flavours that they have. I think having the board helps people choose what they want before they go in so saves time. It's not just the flavour of the ice cream that you can choose there is also a choice of cones you want it in and toppings. My favourite ice cream from there is the fudge one. I find the ice creams are delicious and has a lot of choice of flavours.
