I placed a mobile order bc I was in a slight pinch for time. I ordered the banana berry treat and avocado toast. My smoothie was great however, when I went to pick up my toast it's burnt and taste burnt smh. A complete waste of money for it. Clearly the person who made it saw it was burnt and just couldn't care less to make another piece of bread. The pictures don't equate to how hard this toast was lol It's the little things especially when money is being spent. I frequent smoothie king and this is definitely not the standard I'm used to. A friend and I were out looking at homes and he asked If I had an Acai Bowl before. I've heard of them before but had never had one! We decided to stop in and grab one! I ordered the Coco Pitaya which had shaved Coconut, Strawberries, granola and chocolate drizzle & he ordered the Bee Berry Sting! The serving was HUGE and to my surprise didn't melt so fast! I was worried about that with how much they give you. I think they should offer a smaller size as the standard portion was too big! After eating it I got quite bloated and to my surprise it has 63g of Sugar! Not something I would eat all the time but could be a nice treat now and then! Not sure how healthy it is though.... The staff at this store were very friendly but tbh this was the dirtiest Smoothie King I've seen before. The bathroom was also disgusting and they had 3 people behind the counter. If I could give ZERO stars I would.. DON'T stop here if you're in a hurry.. By far the worst smoothie king I have ever been to. I waited 25mins for a smoothie that takes 2-4mins to make... Best part get to my car and it's not even what I ordered. Workers have no pep in their step to get orders out. No coordination on work flow. Stopped by for $5 Friday, first time at this location and the GPS was not very accurate to get me there. Unfortunately it smelled like bleach when I walked in cause the floor was just mopped (appx 10:32am) I ordered the Pineapple surf and it did not take long for it to be prepared. I order from this smoothie King all the time. There wait times are terrible and the smoothies are usually watered down. Believe me, theres not point in ordering online when the store says they never receive your order. Once you arrive to the store, they make you wait an additional 30 minutes for a smoothie. It seems like its a reoccurring theme at this location. Try a different smoothie ling if you have one closer. read more

However, they seemed confused by the influx of online orders versus the in store orders. I don't blame that on them, but Smoothie King should work on getting that fixed. Its usually 4 people behind the counter but only one person is making smoothies and moving in slow motion (I'm not exaggerating). The last encounter another customer was upset because they made her smoothie wrong and made her wait 20 min to remake it. If you have somewhere to be, don't stop here first. I was excited to come here until I walked in and no one greeted me, but this is the Southside so you are lucky if you get employees that go above and beyond and have personality and are REALLY professional(you have to live on this side of town to understand). They make the smoothies real slow but when you get it, it is good. The employees weren't bad or mean, just seemed overwhelmed or too fixated with doing their basic job duties- not good multitaskers. I love Smoothie King and am glad that it is "again" located on my side of town. I am disappointed, however, in the lack of professionalism in the staff at this particular location. I recently visited the location at 8:14 pm. The closing hour for that evening was 9 pm. I took a seat in the lobby near the door to wait for my order and the male staff member begins to mop the floor. He mopped the area where customers pick up their order, and he mopped near door's entrance/exit area. As he approached me, he stood there and said, "excuse me", expecting me to lift my feet so that he could mop under my chair. Needless to say I was appalled. I informed him that this was not acceptable. After asking for, and speaking to the manager on duty, Saja, she informed me that they are allowed to mop while customers are in the store, but under the customer's feet while waiting for their order?? Really?? Customer service classes are needed for staff and definitely for those left in managerial positions as well. I was not happy and unless some changes are made regarding customer service skills, I will not patronize this location. Customers deserve better. read more
