Introduced to this ice cream establishment by a close friend. I was told if not the best on the outskirts of other Atlanta. Delicious is best to describe my banana fosters I ordered. All was made fresh and with kindness. Service was admirable as the owner came out to help the staff as there was a line out the door that Friday evening. He addressed me personally and informed me that he had own that store for more than 10 years. The establishment was very clean and there were enough room to sit a group of about 8 inside. It's a lot smaller than I thought it would be on the inside so it's easier to get the ice cream to go. The ice cream is ok but they do have good service and prices are pretty comparable to other ice cream shops. It's a nice thing to do in McDonough after grabbing something to eat. read more

I have been going to the PTC location at the Avenue for years and this past year the customer service has SIGNIFICANTLY DROPPED. What cookie company runs out of cookies? Scammed us.. Asked for an cookies and creme ice cream, and barely had any toppings. Had to ask for more in top and the man added only 3 pieces . Then I ordered this red velvet and cookies and creme ice cream. The cookies and creme was apparently a bowl itself even though it came in a bowl. They didn't inform me this and asked me if i wanted a large bowl and I said yes. After leaving I was able to pick up the bowl and there was so much empty space underneath. read more

Really disappointed in the ice cream cake I purchased Friday night. It is literally a slab of vanilla ice cream shaped like a cake. The website showed layers of cake in between ice cream and that's not what we received. I came here for a quick ice cream run. I ended up ordering an Oreo ice cream cone. First, I was overwhelmed by how big the ice cream cone was for which I ordered a small. Also, the ice cream was very heavy and made me feel sick after eating it. I don't think Marble Slab Creamery is really my to- go ice cream place, but it may be yours. I had a very good experience here. I have never in my life had marble slab. However, my daughter wanted an ice cream cake for her bday. She specifically asked for unicorn. I called and they said they could do it. I ordered a medium cake and set a pick up date. I went and the place was packed. I bypassed the line since the people were actually ordering ice cream and went to pay and pick up the cake. The cake was very cute. My daughter loved it. It was amazingly tasty as well. I assume that I was speaking to the owner when I went in... not 100% sure. She was very nice, engaging and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a good ice cream cake. My only issue is that sometimes it is hard to get someone to answer the phone. However, I assume that is during their busy times. Oh and there is plenty of parking and a good amount of seating if you want to enjoy your ice cream there. read more

I am so hurt and disappointed-I loved the ice-cream so I bought the Peanut Butter ice-cream cake 4/24/2018 for a meeting and the guests said it was disguisting!!!!! Marble Slab-my goodness the peanut butter cookies were an awful imitation tasting peanut butter cookie that the guests spit out!!! The chocolate shavings were nasty as well-I expected the highest and best quality of ingredients to be used and I can-not believe that marble slab missed the bar on this cake-well I do believe a lesson has been learned- JUST BECAUSE THE PLACE IS WELL KNOWN AND UPSCALE DOES NOT MAKE IT GOOD!!!! I needed a birthday cake ASAP for my grand daughter and Marble Slab Creamery did not disappoint! I called and spoke with Neal. He was extremely patient and even went out of his way to send me pictures of cakes that were available. My grand daughter wanted a chocolate cake so Neal recommended a chocolate ice cream cake with caramel. It was decorated with Hershey kisses and it was amazing! My grand daughter was one happy girl! I had a horrible experience when I went the early part of April. I even followed up with corporate about this location and they didn't really help me either. I will no longer support this company. I went to the parlor and wanted to redeem my ice cream reward for 5 dollars off. The management would not give me first names but only last names of Patel. I ordered my milkshake and used a debit card and was told from a lady that it would be an additional 5 bucks I would have to spend to use debit cards. There was no sign posted in the store stated this so I refused to do it. I told them that they could not just make up rules without it being written. She called the manager and the manager stated that it was a new rule that corporate enforced for all marble slab creameries. I told him no again and that I would not do that and that he just needed to use my rewards points and I'll pay the difference and he would have to accept my debit card as payment without 5 dollars and I'll never come there again. He stated that I just didn't want to pay. I was heated and we began to argue and he walked off saying something about "you people" which I felt was highly racist. No. I'll never come there again. The lady just charged me the difference and let me use my rewards but they both were so ugly and RUDE! I was disgusted so I wrote corporate immediately. All they stated was that they would investigate and not a true apology was given. I am truly disappointed at the management and corporate so I won't be back to any of the locations. If any of these peoples last name is Patel, (who serviced me) I would not come here. I felt that they were racist against Black people and they talked to me very rude. They weren't friendly and I'll never spend my money where it is not welcomed so they can definitely kiss my butt! I could have went anywhere and I chose there. It's definitely a choice but I just wanted to help someone else and I hope they lose business until management is changed! I feel like they're trying to take peoples money but making up rules without there being signs. Please understand if there is a sign now about the debit card it's probably because of ME! Marble Slab Creamery is the local spot that I have cherished memories with, it was great to come again! Tucked in a small plaza in McDonough, MSC is the perfect place to go for a 'scoop' me up. The stafd is very friendly and welcome you as you enter. The ice cream is served in a variety of flavors which can be served in different ways including dipped waffle cones! My favorite flavors are birthday cake and blue cotton candy with cookie dough and sprinkles. I highly recommended trying new flavors each time you go! read more

I came to this location for the first time yesterday and sampled different flavors. My first impression was how clean the place is not a drop of ice cream in the wrong place now when I started to sample flavors I noticed that cheesecake taste pretty much like a eggnoggy vanilla ? If that makes sense ? Not cheesecake issue at all I mean I've had frozen yogurts that taste more like cheesecake. The sweet cream tasted like the cheesecake(meaning vanilla) and the charcoal which is supposed to be like a "light coffee" was actually pretty good. I do think this place is more of a glorified gelato spot rather than a ice cream parlor but with the toppings you can make any flavor taste good ‍ read more
