I had a very disappointing experience. I arrived around 1:30 PM on a Monday, well within the posted business hours of 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The "Open" sign was on, there were several people inside, and I could clearly see workers as well as customers. However, no one opened the door, and I was simply told they were closed. If the business was temporarily closed or not accepting orders, that should have been communicated by turning off the open sign or posting a notice on the door. Wasting customers' time like this is frustrating and unprofessional. I hope they improve their communication and keep their posted hours accurate. read more

SAFETY ALERT: MAJOR HAZARD & EXTREMELY POOR MANAGEMENT I am posting this urgent public review on behalf of my client (professional athlete) to warn others to use **extreme caution** when ordering from this location. On June 6, 2026, my client placed a DoorDash order from the Get Fruity Old National location. Within the very first sip of the smoothie, my client felt **shards of glass in their mouth**. After immediately spitting it out, they poured the rest of the smoothie out and discovered multiple large chunks of glass blended directly into the drink. This gross negligence could have caused catastrophic internal injuries. While DoorDash was notified, the response from Get Fruity itself has been completely unacceptable. I contacted the store directly to address this, and the individual who identified themselves as the manager via text message offered absolutely **no apology, no accountability, and zero regard for my client's physical well-being**. To make matters worse, they flat-out refused to provide their name or any corporate contact information over text. Since that exchange, we have reached out to Get Fruity multiple times via both phone and email to escalate this terrifying safety issue to upper management. I wanted something fresh tired of all the fried food on old national so I came here based on a referral from a friend. I ordered a salmon salad and a smoothie. It's not the friendliest place but the service was good once I told them I have never been here before a guy helped me order on the kiosk. Not much space between the kiosk and people sitting and waiting you're literally in the walkway and it's a tight space. If you have any food allergies I wouldn't recommend as I watched numerous cross contamination instances another customer did as well bc she's allergic to fish (she stressed this a few times) and the person fixing our meals didn't change gloves so she had them remake her food. My salad was big the dressing was good however the salmon I didn't care for it taste like frozen salmon just a taste I don't like so I didn't eat it. My smoothie was really good and I really enjoyed it and how I could get soy milk instead of dairy or almond. (I'm allergic to nuts) I'm not sure if I'd come back but I'm thankful there's a healthier option on this strip. This review is not for the Old National location, it is for the Union City location. I wasn't able to find it on here but I wanted my thoughts to be heard. I visited the Union City location around 9/10am. When I walked in, I was greeted by both staff members. One lady was making a large order of sandwiches and wraps, the other was just walking from side to side. I was the ONLY person in the store at this time. I placed my order via kiosk. You would think since I was the only one in the store, either lady would quickly get started on my order. WRONG! 2 more guests walked in after me, placed their orders and received their orders. Meanwhile, I'm still waiting on someone to START making mine. Side note: I ordered a wrap and a croissant. I asked was my order being fulfilled, the lady making the large order of sandwiches and wraps advised the other lady was cooking my bacon. I continue to patiently wait. 1 more guy comes in orders a smoothie, gets his smoothie and leaves. I'm STILL waiting! So I asked again, how much longer on my food. The sandwich making lady advises it will be up shortly. She is now complete with the very large order of sandwiches and wraps. Now she begins to make my order. AFTER I had been waiting for 20+ minutes. 4 additional individuals walked in and out all while I was still waiting. And I asked more than once for an update just to be brushed off. It took the lady literally 2/3 minutes to fulfill my order but I stood there and waited 30+ minutes at that point. UNACCEPTABLE! UNPROFESSIONAL! The very first time I had "Get Fruity" the owner was making salon runs with the wraps and sandwiches in a wagon. It was delicious and fresh then. He was very professional then and I expected the same from one of his MANY locations. But I was sadly disappointed. The Union City location is frowned upon after that experience. I live in California and was visiting family in GA. I wanted breakfast and knew it was easy to get something fried and delicious quite easily. But, I knew what I wanted and needed was quite different. I decided I needed a smoothie, but wasn't sure I would find one in the CP. I decided to Yelp it and Get Fruity came up. I checked out their menu and decided to try the That's Incredible smoothie, and that exactly what it was! I asked Shai if she would substitute strawberries for mango and without a hesitation she said, yes. She was exceptionally warm and friendly, as we discussed some other foods, and when she handed me my smoothie, she said, I hope you like it! I did and I will definitely be back! Visiting in town and originally visited another location that was closed for business. Old National was the closest next one. We weren't acknowledged unless we asked a question. Our first time at Get Fruity and didn't realize customers could only order through the tablet. There were two people working at the time, phone ringing off the hook, no one answered it, order placed, food sat on the counter, we assumed it was ours (was not advised hey your order is ready...no one else was at the cafe but us), took the bags and left. We ordered the black bean wraps wish were absolutely delicious. The havocado smoothie was amazing. I walked in and was gretted with "I will be there with you in a moment." I appreciated that. Shai was the only person filling orders and servicing customers at the time and there were orders coming in for deliveries and she still took the time to acknowledge my presence in the store. It's so disheartening to experience such horrible costumer service, which has become all to familiar in Atlanta. I stumbled across what I thought sound amazing to try but unfortunately the service was below this 1 star I'm giving. We walked in to a woman with red dreads who was making an order so we patiently waited in line, after about 8mins of her not turning around after making the previous order we asked her if she'd be kind enough to take our order and without words she pointed at the screen. Me and my partner at this point was still confused because she would not speak. I said ma'am , what are you pointing at & still no words!! At a few seconds of us looking at each other she then said "this is where you order". Why did it take the silent treatment and her keeping the guest waiting in confusion for over 10mins for her to tell us we were not going to he helped by her but by the computer screen. We stumbled upon Get Fruity Cafe while searching for a local Subway. The parking lot is rather packed, but nothing the store can really do about that. We entered the establishment and rather confused as we were unsure where to go to order. We received no greeting nor any customer service. When we found the kiosk to place an order, the woman working the line was rather apathetic and seemed to have no care about her job nor the establishment. Ordering was more complicated through the kiosk as it has a hard time accepting payments. Additionally, this business will nickel and dime you for every side you select outside the pre-selected allotment. Any vegetable is 50 cents extra, which is a little ridiculous if I wish to customize my sandwich. Food taste was rather subpar and the food in the warmers look extremely outdated. The cleanliness of the restaurant was also subpar with dirty tables and boxes in the walkways. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this establishment and suggest you find a different eatery. read more

I love get fruity cafe but honestly the quality of ppl hired especially at the old nat location is terrible! I went and ordered two salads $20 a piece and they barely put any lettuce on and when I mentioned it the woman was rude after I watched her be on the phone for my entire visit and not change her gloves once. Instead she washed her hands with the gloves on which I know is not sanitary! They just had a 51 sanitation score last July 2023 and a 75 this March 2024, and if you go in now you won't see the grade posted. Such a shame . Though it's 95 now, they are not doing what they need to on a day to day to keep people from not getting sick . The guy in the back had on clear gloves working with meat, I watched him wipe I'd hands on his pants with the gloves on! Aside from the uncleanliness and rudeness, I love the salad dressing and lamb or black bean salads. They are super slow and show no drive to accommodate others . Go at your own risk. read more

When the driver gets there there's a sign saying closed until 11. She waits until 11. At 11 they tell her they're not doing the order because they have a big order. The driver calls and explains to me the situation while she's still at the restaurant. I can hear the employee being rude to the driver. Never again! read more
