I've been coming for the new açai bowls. This is the only place in Avon, IN that has them. I was very pleased with the freshness of the fruit and the taste of the Açaí. The portion size is very good. My first bowl was not filled to the top last week when I ordered one but today it was! Yay! Cost: $12 They also serve smoothies. I have tried several of them. They are always fresh and made when you order. Be sure to check out their menu online as there are several add in options. Also, download their app for points and free smoothies. i'm most certain it's the manager who keeps making my smoothies on random days and they're horrible or whomever works on their shift. i go to smoothie king 4x a week min . Erin is usually who helps us and she is absolutely wonderful!!! she knows my order lmao it never changes but still! she always gives coco a pup cup. she's warm and kind. she def makes the experience better. sometimes there's a long wait in the drive thru but generally it goes quickly. you can order via mobile app and pick up inside or at the window. i have but don't prefer it because i don't like the styrofoam cup and as of now you can't change it. they offer smoothies of all kinds and little healthy prepackaged snacks you can grab and eat as well read more

I supported Smoothie King since day one, I went back in from a bad experience on August 14,2020 drive thru service. I came back in August 15.2020 around 11:30am to speak to a man stating he was in charge, I told him about my experiences, I asked for the district managers contact via email or phone he refuse to give me the information. This was the same manager that jacked up my smoothie a few weeks ago making me wait over 20 minutes to redo my order. I was asked to leave the store because a young lady came to talk to me because the manager did not want to address the issues. He told the employee in a mean voice to come back and I said to the nice young lady you better do what he said because he may fire you. Please hire the previous crew back or this location may be out of business soon. I am now traveling to the greenwood location from Avon for a smoothie 10 miles what a shame!!! read more

I was on my way for coffee while running errands in Avon when Smoothie King caught my eye. I hadn't been yet so I decided to try this new health conscious chain on Rockville Road. It's in the same strip center as the new Denny's that's now open too just east of Starbuck's off Gable Drive. There is a drive through but it was filling up quickly so I went inside. This gave me the opportunity to linger over the menu plus see how their prepared. Outside the entrance is an outdoor patio with 3 tables. The interior has 3 small tables, a couple chairs and a 4-top high table. Walk straight back to place your order. While you're in line check out the nutritional products and snacks to the right. The large overhead menu is broken down into categories from Slim, Fitness, Wellness to Anytime with calories and prices noted for all 3 serving sizes. The cups sizes are 20 oz., 32 oz. and 40 ozs. Prices range from $5.45 - $8.95 without enhancers or extra add on's which are $.99 each. I ordered the 32 oz. Pineapple Surf from the Anytime category. It's blended with pineapple, sweetened strawberries, kiwi apple juice blend, turbinado and a dairy whey blend. My Pineapple Surf was ice cold, thick, filling, very refreshing and delicious! There are many nutritious enhancers, plus fruits and veggies, you can add to customize your Smoothie for your personal health goals from Slim, Fitness, Wellness to Energy Enhancers. The staff was polite, helpful and friendly. I thought service was fast for making fresh smoothies. There were 9 people ahead of me and my wait was close to 10 minutes with 7 staff behind the counter handling drive thru and inside customers. My family decided to cool down with some smoothies after an afternoon of shopping. This location just opened up in Avon so it's been pretty packed. I am so happy they finally opened a Smoothie King on my side of town! This was the perfect addition to this fast-paced and growing area. The inside is very clean and bright. They had long lines in the drive-thru and inside but they seemed to handle the crowd really well and we didn't wait too long. This will definitely be a regular spot for me! I cannot wait to try all of the different combinations of smoothies they have. It was so hard for me to pick! So that just means I'll have to visit more to try them all ;-) read more

I stopped coming here for one reason....the lack of service & just overall respect. I don't know how many times I have placed an order that never is completed even after waiting 15 minutes inside. Not to mention, I cannot mention how many times I go unacknowledged in this store in particular. In one instance, a lady left the counter as soon as I approached. Just too many bad experiences and rather drive the extra distance to Smoothie King now even if it cost more. read more

1st visit to the new spot on Avon!! Smoothie King has delicious drinks with mltpl drinks. I was surprised how healthy of a drink you can buy. They are more of a health-optional kind of place. They sell drinks with fruits, veggies, whey, coconut water, protein powder, yogurt, peanut butter, etc. The sizes are ample starting at 24oz for a small. Even my husband, the yogurt hater, enjoy my slim-n-trim smoothie with greek yogurt. The seating is nice and communal but not a lot of it. There may be seating for about 15 people. They have ports for device charging, epay, and lots of healthy products to purchase like a health store. I couldn't give them a 5 star because it is very hard to read the menu if you're in line. The backlight is vwry bright. I have glasses and had a difficult time. So anyone with altered vision my find it difficult to order. The staff helps. This is a cool little smoothie shop. They sell a variety of smoothies anything from healthy smoothies to adding your own enhancers. I had the pineapple surf which I did not like. It was incredibly way too sweet. My son had the banana boat, it was also really sweet. My daughter had the berry punch and it was pretty good, not so sweet. I do wish they would let you try them before purchasing them because they are expensive. Staff was not very helpful while ordering for the first time, and the gal taking our order was rushing us so she could hurry and go back to talking with her friends. Smoothie King has been one of our few reasons to leave the house. My kids and I love their smoothies. Everyone is so nice and helpful at the Avon location. My kids like to order according to the fruit they want and it is pretty confusing for me but the people taking our order are able to translate my kids fruit orders into the perfect pick from their menu. I normally don't make negative reviews unless it happens repeatedly so here I am. The only time my smoothie is right seems to be when a couple of people are working but I don't know their schedule. I use the mobile app at least four times a week, sometimes seven. Today I placed an order at 12:30 P.M. to be picked up at 12:37 P.M. I use the mobile app to save time. I walked in at 12:46 P.M. and was not acknowledged for a couple of minutes while standing at the station where orders are picked up. When the employee came he asked for the name on my order then immediately asked what did I have. I told him. Then I asked was it not made and he said it was given to someone else and that he would reblend it. Mind you, I use the mobile ordering to save time, but here I am not saving time. Well he starts the order and then sits the blender jar down. They proceed to crank out orders and I'm standing there staring at my unblended smoothie. After several minutes he asks someone to blend it. She proceeds to put the rest of the ingredients in and blends. After a couple of minutes I am asked is it ok to add more mango because the protein isn't blending. I purposely leave out banana because it becomes too sweet and never have an issue with this. At this point, I don't care what he has to do, I just want my smoothie, so I can go about my busy day. It is now 12:58 P.M. He goes to the register to do something, with my jar of weirdly blended smoothie, then adds mango. At 1:05 P.M. I am offered a lumpy ass smoothie. He would have been better off giving me a fork instead of a straw. He then says that if it isn't right to let him know. I take it and walk towards the door then decided to taste it. It wasn't terrible, but it was lumpy and the flavor was off. I threw it in the trash and started to just leave like I usually do when they mess it up but I already was running extremely late so I wanted my money back. Well of course he can't figure out how to refund me so I lose out on my money, waste a $2 off reward and have to find something to eat since that was lunch. I left at 1:14 P.M. Went to order a smoothie, the sign stated it open. I then looked up the hours and it didn't close until 8 but young lady and young man working refused to answer the drive through window although the lobby was closed. I saw two employees cleaning up. They both looked at me and looked down quickly. At least give me the courtesy to tell me you are closed and turn off the OPEN sign. read more

Very slow!! and inefficient! the drive through is always backed up and causes for traffic jams in the parking lot!
