This location sure needs to learn how to handle their firing of teenage employees! My granddaughter worked for a few days, then no more! Used the excuse they were remodeling dinning room, yes they did but had employees still there but her. After a wk i went in and of course they were open. The management would NEVER respond to her about if she was on the schedule. I was going to talk to her manager myself but i was teaching her how to do this on her own as its her job, her responsibility and so also didnt want me too. How is it a 15yr old has more respect and integrity than her boss who still to this day 4 wks later has never responded. How are we to teach teenagers to take a job seriously, and have respect and to appreciate it if the company/ managers dont do the same. How can u just not give her hours and never explain or respond? I called corporate yesterday they said theyd handle it. Never heard a thing back! Not that she will ever work there again, this was pretty much her first real experience with a job! I really do hate to leave negative reviews for a small business, and I know this location is probably owned by a franchisee. This is the third time I've been there and had something wrong with my order... It's not worth going back for, but very irritating. I ordered a large box that's supposed to have chicken and fries in it, and a cheeseburger with a water as a drink. The total came out to almost $16, and when I got home I discovered that I had an order of fries and some cheese curds with blue cheese dressing when I ordered the chicken box large with ranch. The box also contained burnt toast, the equivalent of one piece of bread. My wife's cheeseburger was really good, but this will be the last time I visit that Dairy Queen. read more

Do not order the food and stick to the ice cream.== They understaff their cook side so the food is more often than not prepared terribly, has been sitting there all day, or cold. Usually a mixture of the three. The last time I ever ordered from there, I got 2 double cheeseburgers. Normally I trust the employees to ensure my order is correct, but I double checked my bag on a whim that night. They gave me two single cheeseburgers. I was very polite about it when I went inside to ask for the two doubles I had ordered. The cook seemed rude and I feel like they messed up my order on purpose. They begrudingly told me that they would fix my order, and I got my two doubles, thanked them, and left. When I got home I took one bite into a burger and instantly recognized that they didn't even put two slices of cheese on the doubles. Normally I don't mind minor things like this, but it seemed ridiculous that they had completely messed up my order to begin with and then don't even do it properly when asked very nicely to have it fixed. I called the store immediately and the manager there actually had the nerve to tell me that they stopped putting two slices of cheese on the doubles two years ago! Bulls**t! When I worked there I was told to give 2 slices of cheese for the doubles and I quit not even half a year ago... There is no other burger joint I have ever worked at or eaten from that DOES NOT EVEN GIVE YOU TWO SLICES OF CHEESE! Very stingy and unprofessional! His entire attitude was terrible and the fact that he would lie so brazenly made me really mad. I am never going back to this place again, and I wouldn't recommend thay anyone give money to a place that constantly understaffs their employees and sit back eating the food THEY make. A complete joke, if people saw what went on behind the scenes they would be disgusted at the lack of regard for health standards or courtesy for the employees they hire. During my employement I also witnessed a lot of health violations & most employees are not encouraged to wear gloves. Was without a doubt, the absolute worse blizzard I have ever had, until pulling into a gas station to toss it, them into the trash. Both were medium pecan cluster blizzards, each resembled that of a water downed chocolate shake, it made sense then why they put lids on, probably to keep them from splashing all over in the car. Needless to say, they didn't bother doing the upside down trick, that they do at every DQ I've been to, just before handing them over the counter. They knew exactly what they we're selling and it clearly didn't bother them. The pecans, or should I say pecan that I ate was old and rancid. All around bad, bad and shame on them. Hindsight is 20/20 and now I know why their parking lot was empty except for two Harley's and my Jeep, reputation has a why of catching up, an ice cream place less than a minute away had a full parking lot, cars in line for the drive thru, and people standing out front eating what I think we're tasty treats. This is a great Dairy Queen. Fast service, nice staff, no complaints. I have been here a few times, and always had a great experience.
