Spent $30 and change on two small and two medium drinks. Gave the cashier a 50 told him we had the change. Handed him the bill and then dug out the change he still only gave back change for a $50 couldn't get him to understand we needed a even $20 bill back. All he could say was but before you handed it to me I typed in $50. Guy just couldn't get it. Kept the change and the bill. And his drawer will be over tonight unless they add it to the tip jar or something. Anyway a tad bit expensive for the service. read more

Poorly managed and staffed I'm here on a Monday morning there's no manager in the building and only one employee working and she's no older than 20 years old ( I only know that because she has big X's on her hand from the night club lol) the place is packed and she's on the phone while making smoothies as slow as possible and keeps saying it's going to be a minute as soon as people walk in Whoever runs this place is either lazy or just stupid how can you allow only one employee to be in the store at a time , if you're under staffed work the store with your employees until you can get properly staffed again read more

Went into Smoothie King today at 6:45pm and had the most interesting experience. Once I entered the fine establishment I stumbled upon what I believe to be the team lead for the afternoon. Once I got past the horrendous lip piercings and neck tattoos that look to be drawn from a prison CD player I noticed that she was not wearing a mask nor gloves. I was not upset until I realized she had not put either on to prepare my order. I wanted to let this all get past me because im not one to complain but my favorite smoothie of all time was now ruined due to the imminent taste of bitterness and chalk. I don't know how a grown woman can do such a poor job with a drink but once again, i stand to be corrected here in miamisburg. So much potential but lacking in customer service. So unprofessional and the customer is last instead of first. I love their smoothies but the employees are another story. One was on the phone and finished her conversation while I stood there waiting in front of her, I've seen others arguing with each other and staying in the back while customers line up waiting or just give up and leave. I think the only reason this place remains open is because the product is good, because you leave unhappy with the service almost every time! The sign on the door says they open at 7am and the website states that as well but 4 out of the 5 days that i have gone there at 8 am they were not open...4 people were waiting outside but no sign of life was inside. Bad for business for sure. read more

Only giving 1 star because I can not give 0. No matter what time or day I come in service is supper slow. Staff does not even acknowledge your in the store. Actually came in and the girl had her boyfriend in the back. Not sure what that was about. Today I got to listen to her bad mouth her co workers on the phone instead of making the smoothies we ordered. Took 10 mins to make the smoothie for the guy in front of me and is just now starting on mine. I think at this point I'm done. I'm deleting my app and no longer coming here. This Smoothie King is great but I have one complaint. My wife and I stopped in today and the place was busy. The two young ladies were working like mad to serve the customers but there was way too much work for two people. The Smoothie King management must not care and appears to be long distant or they would be there helping. I was amazed how these girls worked and made great smoothies all the while keeping excellent attitudes to the customers. Shame on the mangers. There is a "help wanted immediately" sign in the front window. If you can't hire you may want to relook at what you are paying your team. Never experienced unfriendly service, however the product is extremely inconsistent. Either it's either really good, or really bad. The last few times I've went I've ended up throwing most of the smoothie away. Staff seem very unknowledgeable of the menu, and seem to have no backup from management or other coworkers. It tastes like a powdered fruit drink loaded with high fructose corn syrup. unusual smoothie consistency and way too sweet. This drink resembled nothing like a fresh fruit drink. Just give me fresh fruit, macha green tea, ground flax seed and ice. Now that is a smoothie! read more
