I don't know why I waste my time driving to this location. It seems like all too often. The store is closed when business hours on their site show they should be open. It seems to happen somewhat frequently. I go out of my way to swing by on my way to work, only to find The store is closed. Awful. The kids that work there are absolutely clueless. I ordered for a group online and was told they never received my order (which was confirmed). So they told me to go to Bay Area because that's the same owner according to the two people that supposedly "work" there. Was in the area and wanted to try Smoothie King out, I figured since I like Jamba Juice, Smoothie King should be up my alley. After checking out the menu, I went with a Caribbean way, it was a mixture of strawberries, bananas and a papaya juice blend and turbinado and for s&g I tossed in a caffeine kicker too. I'm giving one star for the snotty little teenagers that work here. I came in today at 1:40 PM to grab a smoothie for lunch while I'm working. Let me preface this with I do like smoothie king, however the customer service here is nonexistent. Upon walking in the teenagers at the counter continue talking to each other and then just stare at me with the look that says, "yeah what do you want?" They don't bother addressing you, such as "hey how are you today" or "what can I get you?" The girl that helped me was named Kylie and she was just as obnoxious as the Kardashian of the same name. She was unhelpful and seemed to dread being at her job. Instead of asking if I wanted my receipt, she crumbled it up. When I told her I actually do need my receipt she rolled her eyes and printed a new one. We stopped by tonight... as we drove by we could see the open sign on, drive up window sign lite up, lights on in the store. So as I think anyone would we figured they were open. My boyfriend goes in and the girl tells him they are closed, he say but your open sign is on, drive up lights are on, inside lights are on but you say you are closed ‍. LOVE Smoothie King... This seems like a fairly new one. Very roomie and pretty large as far as Smoothie Kings go.. For a while now on Mondays they have had $5 any 32oz smoothie which is a great deal compared to the normal prices as to me $7 or $8 for a smoothie can get steep if you have them quite often. My recommendation is the Vegan Super Nutty Grain smoothie (that might not be totally right but you say it they will make it lol). Don't even have to get it cause you are vegan. Just get it cause it is nutty and peanut buttery and a hint of cocoa and it is just GOOD. I am not vegan but it is my fav smoothie. Service at this location is always good and friendly. read more

Apparently this is a chain, but last weekend was the first time I've ever been to one. I got the Strawberry Xtreme and my boyfriend got the Blueberry heaven. My Strawberry Xtreme was pretty average. It tasted fine but I wasn't delicious or anything. I wasn't a big fan of the Blueberry Heaven. The initial taste was pretty good but there was a weird after taste that I think came from the vanilla protein blend. My boyfriend loved it though. Additionally, 20 oz is the smallest size you can get so be prepared to turn this into a small meal. It actually makes a rather filling breakfast. I imagine it would be a good post work out snack too. The drive thru at this particularly location was also rather oddly placed. It's really close to the counter where you get your drinks so if more than one car is waiting on an order the people behind them can't actually place their order. It's not a big deal really I just noticed that it was a rather poor design. I would give this place another chance. I like the idea of a "fitness smoothie" so I really do want to like this place. First I want to point out the service was unpleasant.The girl with long brown/black hair did not look appropriate for work. I don't think she was wearing a bra, which I find to be inappropriate while in the workplace.
