Bought a product there and got it returned the first time without an issue because the product came in hard powder. Came back for the same issue a day later. I'm told they won't return that same product because they can't return it because of the vendor not taking it back. Funny thing is that there is nothing writing anywhere that states this. Manage was not there and employees as much as they can't do anything kept questioning if I was there or not before to return this product. It was insulting to pretty much be called a liar when I'm a regular that spends $100's a month there! I love reviewing businesses - good and bad. As a big supporter of small, local businesses, I feel it's important to provide consumer feedback. I will always refer my clients to a local business - usually one that I have an established relationship with. Of course, this goes both ways - piss me off, and I will make sure word gets out. Thank you, Nutrition Depot of Clear Lake, for burning a bridge today. I personally spend $200-$300 a month there and send my clients as well as Starport members in on a regular basis. I stopped by almost 2 weeks ago to speak with the manager, Abraham regarding an event I am hosting. I was looking for very specific samples and stressed multiple times that I would pay for the samples individual serving sizes. He asked that I come back in about a week after he had a chance to order them. Today when I arrived, he recognized me and remembered the conversation, but then sputtered out some story about how he couldn't get any samples, blah blah blah. I asked why he didn't call me to let me know and that my event is next week - had I known, obviously I would have hustled to get the products I needed elsewhere.
