I frequent this Smoothie King bc it's close to my gym and I get a discount there! Plus they have a $5'Friday special which makes it even sweeter! I truly appreciate that they let me come in a few minutes before they close because I have to have my smoothie fix after a workout! The employees here are very efficient and nice. Don't forget to also sign up to be a frequent member. They can look you up according to your phone number. Just be sure to tell them before they ring you up so it counts! Helpful friendly service every time I go! I tend to get overwhelmed with big menu boards and they helped me get exactly what I wanted/ needed. They are passionate about their product which in turn makes me more interested. Even though the prices are a little high, its still a healthy $5 or $6( for a small) in a city filled with cheap unhealthy options. I get the strawberry gladiator with rinsed strawberries which is packed with protein and barely any carbs. Another option I get is the chocolate gladiator( protein powder) with cold brew coffee and a multi vitamin. Tastes just like a frozen mocha but alot more nutrition. read more

The sign that says "$5 Fridays for 32oz Smoothies" does not apply to this independent franchise location. As it turns out, once you order, in my case it was a Lean 1 (nothing special), the cashier replied that it was about $8 and something. When I asked about all the $5 Friday deal and the fact that signs all over the parking lot and in the store, she said that some franchises don't fully participate. I told her, I'm not upset about the two bucks, but it is misleading and in my opinion a horrible business practice. When I asked for the owner she looked over to an older gentleman that remained silent leaving whom I suspect was his daughter to handle the public relations in the worst way possible. The employee who decided on debating me instead of providing good service noticed I had a UNO employee ID and started to lecture me about UNO's demise. Instead of taking the bait, I told her, she certainly has the right to criticize UNO, but I don't think insulting the customer helps the situation. I could have reminded her that her location has leased to about 4 different businesses in the last 20 yrs that went belly up or that her job harassing customers and handing smoothies must be much more interesting than running an IT group at a university. I would respectfully advise "daddy" or whoever is the manager to step up and communicate with the customers. I generally go to Smoothie King a few times a week. This location is off the list for now. read more
