She schooled me on the menu and made my ordering pleasant! They do cook your food to order so there was a little wait. The spot was very clean and had a great atmosphere. Yep listed under Poboy but the only poor boy they have is a fried shrimp Poboy with a Crawfish sauce now if I was going to do a shrimp Poboy, wouldn't you logically put a shrimp sauce over it if you want sauce at all. I absolutely love this place and I go as often as I can. Today I came out for the Korean fried chicken sandwich and my brothers and sisters, it did not disappoint. A little heat, a little kimchi, their delicious chicken, everything on it was perfect. I ordered in person and it always takes a little longer than I remember, but that's because everything is cooked to order, so just be patient and watch TV while you wait, or order online and pick it up. Food this good is worth the wait. Last thing, I was getting this to go. Usually if you order fries they are in with the other food, so I didn't check this time. When I got where I was going I realized that the fries were missing. I called and they were so friendly, asking how they could make it right. We found this place on our way out of the airport (MSY) and were overwhelmed by how great the food was. It's a bit pricey for fast food, but blows everywhere else away in terms of quality. We splurged and, in addition to the chicken sandwiches, we got the pork belly bites too, and they were also excellent. To start off, service was excellent! The guy in the front was not only nice and friendly, but he was also very detailed and patient while explaining the menu since it was my first time there. From his recommendation, I got the Southerns Original Spicy Chicken Sandwich ($10.99), their Phuket Fries ($5.99), and a regular fountain drink ($2.95). The chicken inside the sandwich was HUGE! Not only that, but the spice flavor to it gave off a very southern/cajun flavor. The sauce on it had an aioli kick to it, which I really liked. The Phuket Fries were really good too. They weren't stingy with the amount of fries compared to other places, so I give them props for that. That being said, one thing to note is that if you're coming here for the first time, you should probably order "one size up" on the spice level as my fiancé and I were content but not completely blown away with the amount of heat. But they greeted me nonetheless Very happily. The restaurant for what I can see had a nice setup. It was straightforward to the point you go up to the counter and order your food and they call your number to pick up. I ordered one OG chicken sandwich with zero spice level. That was a mistake. Definitely get at least one level up the flavor is worth it and it's not that bad of spice and the chicken. Patty was huge as always and the other was the spicy chili honey glazed chicken sandwich which was okay. I should have got the OG. It had a spice level that was a little bit above mild But no coleslaw nonetheless still good. The only food item I would change are the fries. I wouldn't get those again. I will try something else. They were pretty plain. Nothing.
