There are not a lot of smoothie kings in my area so coming out here is a special trip. It occasionally they offer a free 12oz for app members so I will always want to pick that up. Today they offered a free pecan delight. I really liked it. Very nutty flavor and not sweet. I also tried the melted snowman secret menu which was shown to have carrot as the main flavor. However, it tasted most like banana and vanilla. I didn't pick up any carrot flavor at all. Which was disappointing for me. I gave it to my dad when I got home even though I dropped a whooping $16 on a 44oz. The inside of the store was tidy but it took a few minutes for someone to come out from the back and greet us or take the order. I'll come try the free ones when they offer it but so far I haven't tried anything that encourages me to make that drive out there. read more

I absolutely love coming here. The smoothies are nice size for a decent price. It can be a bit pricey if you choose to add on but overall not bad. I usually get the slim n trim strawberry and it's so tasty. Very refreshing before or after a workout . The servers are really nice. I would recommend this spot . read more

I don't pronounce my Es harshly, I prefer a Smooth E. These things are all over the country now it seems, and they make a pretty decent smoothie, and even add whey protein to your smoothie for you for a small extra fee, which I'm allergic to kinda. It's not bad but it's not my favourite, and while drinks are good, I much prefer a bubble tea - but this is pretty popular with some of the students. read more

Love coming here for a treat! Their staff is very friendly and the establishment is clean. They always keep the line moving, I'm never waiting more than 5 mins for my smoothie even when there are people ahead of me. They have a spacious parking lot and they always have deals going on. I usually order the 32oz Banana Boat for $8, which is a dessert drink. I'm sure everything else on their menu is delicious too! read more

I ordered a 40oz mango kale (about $9) and a 20oz mixed berry smoothie ($5.40), but because of the daily special, the 20oz was free. Both drinks tasted amazing, refreshing, and not overly sweet. Very disappointed right now. I have been coming to smoothie king for a while, and have given them a lot of business. The last few smoothies I got from this location have been pretty watered down, they would melt so fast because it was majority ice in the drink. Today, I kindly asked for light ice since. He recommended we just double blend the smoothie, because apparently that gets rid of ice? I don't know. But when i got my smoothie, it was only filled up 2/3 of the way!!!! Why? Because I asked for light ice!!!! So his stingy self didn't give me even one more strawberry or half a banana, he just gave me less ice and didn't even fill my drink up. If I pay for a 32 oz, I want 32 oz. If you're going to run a smoothie shop, sell smoothies. Not ice. I used to love this place, but this sad old man has made me not return. I will be making my own smoothies from now on, and you should all save yourself a trip and just get some ice from the gas station because that's what you'll be getting here anyways. read more

I'm a huge fan of smoothie king but this location was a complete disappointment. I went in and asked for a 32 oz Hulk Coffee, considering on Friday the 32oz is the price as a small. Due to the carelessness of the employees I got the completely wrong drink, they gave me the chocolate hulk instead of the coffee like I asked for, and the completely wrong size drink, a small instead of the 32oz I asked for, as well. When they offered to remake the drink I was all for it! But I got the same bad quality tasting smoothie, the same wrong flavor even though I tried to correct them multiple times but hey at least I got the 32oz! Wasted a lot of money and time! Stopped by after an event just recently because we were craving a smoothie and this was the closest location. In hindsight, we should have driven further to avoid this place. It was empty with no one in sight. No one. Not even an employee. But we spotted an open purse on a chair right by the window. Wut?! When she finally emerged from the backroom, we were deciding on which smoothie we wanted. She made it very known that she was annoyed and being impatient. We weren't even taking that long. Awesome smoothies here. This is closest you will get to Planet Smoothie. Their smoothies are extremely good, and they use actual fruits instead of syrups, etc. Prices are a bit cheaper than Smoothie King, but the quality is just as good, if not better. Its usually empty everytime I go, which is a good thing. Located behind a Burger King, in a plaza on University and Alafaya. That plaza has other restaurants and stores, such as a UCF bookstore, Pita Pit, and some chinese spot. read more

I come here all the time but for some reason havent had a chance to write a review. The smoothies here are the best in town. My favorite is the strawberry gladiator w vanilla protein and strawberries as the fruit. 360 calories and 45 g of protein and very tasty. My only gripe is that sometimes at this location they seem not to follow the hours of operation they have posted on their collateral. I went to once at 8pm and they were closed even though their signs said 9pm. I later found it that they do that sometimes if not too busy. Not a good practice. Needless to say it was disappointing when you were looking forward to that smoothie. If not for that, it would be a 5 star rating. read more

Not sure what all the negative reviews are about. I've been feeling sick the past few days and can't really stomach solid food. I have lost some weight being sick and crackers and soup just aren't doing it for me. Needed some sort of protein so my boyfriend and I drove 15 minutes to Smoothie King. He went inside at like 7:30 tonight and ordered me a nice big Angel Food smoothie. It was perfect. We took a drive over to Bento so he could eat and I laid in the car and sipped on my smoothie. When he got back after a quick bite, I told him I wanted another one to put in the freezer for while I was home tomorrow. He gave me the face and drove back. Picked up smoothie #2 at a little after 8. They were definitely open past 8. He said the staff was really polite. I taste tested the other smoothie to make sure it was right and it was spot on perfect as well. It's out of the way but I will definitely make the trip often! read more

I like tropical smoothie better because of they have a better selection and price but I think their smoothies are a bit smaller which stinks but hey that's life. So today was the second time i've come to this store, and i've only ever been attended by the boss, Brad Lep. I've been to many smoothie kings and never have i ever felt negative vibes from a SK store. The first time i came in i ordered a Nutty Super grain, it was super liquidy and had a very plain taste, something id expect the boss to not mess up in. I did not walk back in, because it didnt feel like the type of environment that you'd want to ask for a new one cause they messed up. 3 months later, i was in gain, to Brad, and i ordered a Vanilla Hulk, with no butter pecan, and whey protein. It was well made the first time but i forgot to tell him to take the banana's out because my boyfriend has a bad reaction to them, and i proceeded to buy another one, and Brad said not to worry about it..... he remade it, left it in the blender to blend, disappeared to the back as two of his workers came and clocked in. I took a sip... dates, supergrains, whey protein were missing. I had switched out the weight gain for whey the first time, he didnt bother putting it in the second time. he attempted to be nice about remaking me one instead of paying for it, only to get a much crappier version of it. And its a meal replacement smoothie, which we pay another dollar for. nahh instead he just went away to escape another possible complain.... being the boss. ( I KNOW WHAT WHEY PROTEIN TASTES LIKE) The smoothie was straight yogurt, milk powder and water. Smoothie King has a policy in making sure the customer gets the perfect smoothie, no matter how many times an employee gets it wrong, at the end of the day its about how you put effort in making a quality smoothie for the customer's experience.
