Thanks to one of my customers at work, I just found my new favorite smoothie place. I will be coming here almost every other Friday. You can get a 32 oz for $5.00. They have a lot of different options you can choose from. I can't wait to try a lot of them. They have a lot of vegan and vegetarian options too choose from. Ordered a PB Delight bowl and did some modifications, which I guess the worker did not like. Subbed the Blueberries for Strawberries, Pb Drizzle for Chocolate Hazelnut, and Granola for cocoa nibs and received this barely half full half-assed bowl for $13. There's not even a full half of a banana or an entire strawberry in it. If you don't want to deal with substitutions, don't offer it. The girl behind the counter seemed annoyed when I walked in and barely spoke. Did just enough to say she did the order. Absolutely pathetic customer service and product. read more

Slowest most apathetic individuals I've ever stood in line for an hour to observe. No hello, no thank you, and then an hour in line for a single smoothie that wasn't even made correctly. So disappointing- we were very interested in the keto smoothie options. While we don't eat a keto diet any longer, we still partake in lower carb, reduced sugar foods as often as possible. So, while we were in North Hills, we stopped in to Smoothie King to see for ourselves. Complete disappointment from the get-go. We weren't greeted at all, honestly weren't even sure where to order since there were random people standing around. This location is connected to a gym, so it was quite loud and just not the set up that made it easy to order, etc. The menu board was rather confusing, too. I finally asked an employee what keto options they had - he told me coffee, chocolate and another flavor that escapes me. I ordered two 32 oz keto, one chocolate and one coffee. Very long wait for two very expensive, very revolting drinks. $17.10 for honestly the grossest drink I've ever had. The flavor of the chocolate one was reminiscent of what saw dust smells like. Yep. Brought the coffee one home for my daughter, she took one sip, apologized and poured it down the drain. What a waste of $17! The employees didn't speak to anyone, the wait was long, and the smoothies were absolutely terrible. Skip this place and save your money. And, your taste buds. read more

Let me start by saying, I really enjoy smoothies as a meal because they are convenient and CAN be healthy. That being said, I am usually the girl who gets the chocolate and peanut butter smoothie because I want something that tastes good and will fill me up for a few hours. Smoothie King has a MASSIVE menu with Fitness Blends, Slim Blends, Wellness Blends, Take a Break Blends and Kids' Cups. If you want something light and healthy, there are so many options to try and enjoy. If you want to add to any of their smoothies there are a ton of options including fitness enhancers (muscle builder or protein), energy enhancers (energy boost or pure recharge), slim enhancers (diet down) and wellness enhancers (fiber, multi-vitamin, probiotics, immune boosters and super grains). If you aren't in the mood for a smoothie, they also offer a variety of snacks, chips and bars. My favorite smoothie is the Peanut Power Plus Chocolate which is so good that you can even have it skinny (no sugar added which saves TONS of calories) and the flavor is still AWESOME! I have introduced a number of friends to it who also have made that their go-to smoothie. $5 Fridays are awesome because you can get a 32oz smoothie for $5! Enjoy! read more

I came in today (august 8, 2021) Great smoothie but I always see it's busy and there are lack of staff. I came in today and there was a young lady all by herself. It wasn't a long wait for my drink but the poor girl looked like she was overwhelmed. There were about 8 or 9 people when I came in and when I left, three more people walked in behind me. Please hire more staff because it isn't fair to the worker or the customers to have to wait long or to have to be overworked. Do better. read more

Said that he has to focus on restocking and isn't able to take any orders at the moment even though the sign said open and there were two other employees there. I've never walked in a smoothie place or any place of business and they refuse to take any orders because they have to focus on restocking. The employees are great. They have positive attitudes and always work diligently and get orders out in a timely manner to perfection. My issue with this specific smoothie king is that it has not had AC since the beginning of the summer. It is not fair to the patron nor the employees. If I worked at this smoothie king I would definitely not go into work. It is a health hazard to have those employees in such terrible conditions. I love myself a good Smoothie! I tried Smoothie King out at a recent Yelp event and was excited to learn that they have a make it skinny option to make the smoothies much better for you. Basically they just don't add in the turbinato sugar, the fruit is sweet so I really don't think you even need the sugar. My two favorites are the Angel Food and the Strawberry. Both are super refreshing and fill you up, they are really simple just strawberry banana or just strawberry. This location opens up into the gym at North Hills. If you are just running in to grab a smoothie it can be a bit tricky to find a close parking spot depending on when you go. I recently went in fifteen minutes before closing and the employees were so friendly, they didn't make me feel like I was inconveniencing them by coming in so late. I will be back! read more

Came in on Sunday at 5pm, only person in the shop at the time and the kid and the girl who was wearing the "poetic Justice Tupac hoodie" stood there and didn't take my order. The guy greeted me and the girl walked right by me without asking me what I'd like to order. Stood there for 4 minutes at the registers as they continued to peel bananas. She had enough time to flirt with the fitness connection employee rather than greet me & take my order. Terrible customer service, I always come here and this isn't acceptable. Convenient location! I love treating myself to a Whey Protein Shake after though workouts! The service is fast and the staff is always friendly. I suggest always making your shake skinning as it's made with less sugar and cuts a lot of calories! Wow. Literally two days in a row the app was down for mobile orders. And don't try calling after 8:30 because they DO NOT pick up the phone to take your order. Drove across the street this time as I was trying to call my order in and walked up to a locked door with the attendant just chatting away with another customer. She came to the door let the customer out and rudely said "we're closed" and locked the door in my face .....I've never... This is definitely not the time to blatantly turn customers away. Great smoothies! Store is clean, and servers are very courteous. I ordered a Greek yogurt pineapple mango, and it was really good. They have a variety of choices and different sizes available; 16, 20, and 32 oz. They also allow customers to split a smoothie for an additional $.16 (price of the cup). I arrived at 8:58 (largely due to the longest light ever and someone taking forever to get out a park) the sign said open, along with the door unlocked and people inside. They refused to serve me. Parking is atrocious, smoothies are great... your call on whether to fight the good fight. I wish they'd figure out something better for those who visit North Hills by car. I know it's walkable and caters to all of the people in condos and offices in the area, but for those of us who work the territory with our car, it's a nightmare because you're crammed for time, can't find parking, and everyone and their brother flocks to North Hills for lunch. That aside, the smoothies are an awesome option for lunch on the road and I wish it was more accessible. There are so many options and you can basically customize anything. My go to fave is the slim n trim vanilla... it'll keep you full for hours and tastes great. On days I have time to park and walk halfway across North Hills to grab lunch here I'm always pumped because it's a nice walk and a tasty lunch (but I get mad on days I have 10 minutes tops to grab something and know I can't park and make it to Smoothie King fast enough). $5 Fridays rock!!! read more
