Sprouts has become my favorite market to purchase clean and organic foods for my household. I take advantage of delivery via InstaCart and enjoy the quality of the fresh fruits and vegetables as well as plethora of organic brands. Many markets in the area sell genetically modified fruits and veggies. If you are not educated on how to tell the difference and what to look for, you will not benefit from the experience. Sprouts surprisingly has some of the best baked goods I've had. The bran muffins are my daughter's favorite as well as the chocolate cake. They also offer sugar free and vegan pastries as well. They sell Malk here the organic plant based milk and it's often hard to find anywhere else. I also enjoy their brand of coconut water and pomegranate arils. Excellently hydration and fiber sources. Prices are affordable for my budget and the quality is spot on. read more

I love the deli options at Sprouts. I get the tuna salad sandwich made to order on their whole grain bread. The price is only $4.99 and you can add a drink and chips for a bit more. Their rotisserie chicken is $7.99 or you can get the meal deal for 9.99 with a chicken, two hot sides and the bread. Sprouts has an app with weekly specials. I wouldn't recommend delivery with instacart because the shopper didn't find the specific items and marked them out of stock when they really were available. I visited Sprouts this morning for the very first time. I heard so many things about it from friends and coworkers, so I decided to try it for myself. I had a wonderful first experience. The produce is fresh and while some items in the store were a little pricey, there were some items that were reasonably priced and lots of sale prices. I enjoyed the openness of the store and being able to shop freely without crammed areas. A couple things that were a little peculiar to me: (1) I was at the store before 8 AM and some of the fruits were not restocked. It was almost as if they had run out of items already although it had been less than an hour since the store had opened; (2) there were a few workers around in the store but no one ever asked if I needed help with anything or greeted me at all. As I checked out, the cashier was the only person to ask if I found everything that I needed and welcomed and thanked me for shopping there. Overall, I was pleased with my visit. The store smelled good and looked clean and welcoming. The produce and other grocery items looked fresh and appealing. I would visit again. read more

I didn't see anything that made this stand out from any of the others necessarily, but enjoyed my visit. I did find a couple of sample products of items I've been wanting to try, and was super excited to see Copper Cow coffee on clearance for $3.99!! IYKYK! Also found pasture raised eggs for $7.00/18ct. I first visited Sprouts near Oklahoma City, and was delighted when they came to Raleigh. Just like the others I've seen, this Sprouts has a beautiful, huge produce section; a nice, small specialty cheese case; a small meat department and a fantastic bulk section. Prices were reasonable on most items I saw. I bought a really cute eggplant for 99 cents, and other produce prices were great, too. The service was very friendly and fast. I wish Sprouts was closer to home, but it's worth a special trip. read more

Decided I better update my review on Sprouts - now that they are part of my regular rotation. I recently discovered the Sprouts app, you can grab FREE items from Sprouts on the regular! Just for loading the app and adding the items to your Sprouts barcode, which you show at checkout. I've started visiting Sprouts about every two weeks - I grab Zevia drinks (great sale price), Lily's chocolate (sale 2/$4!), Quest cookies, fresh veggies, and Whisps crackers. Every employee that I've interacted with so far has been very friendly and helpful. Between the Sprouts app and the Sprouts weekly ad, you can grab some great deals. Recently, strawberries were .98/lb! That's lower than Aldj (that's my other regular store). Definitely worth stopping at Sprouts for your healthy food options. read more

If Whole Foods was to get back to its roots (yes pun totally intended)... they would be SPROUTS. Sprouts may be small, but they manage to pack some interesting things into their store, surpassing Whole Foods in the process. Bulk goods like grains, nuts and odd ingredients that you didn't know you needed until you read the barrel labels. This is pretty awesome. Because I want to be inspired when I shop to try new things. Like Sorghum. (Was there really sorghum there, or did I imagine it?) But where SPROUTS really shines is in the HEALTH AND BEAUTY section. Whole Foods used to do this at the old location near Meridith College. And then they got corped out. Sprouts has everything my doctor recommended for better health and some really interesting items for beauty. Also totally stoked to find I can afford their own brand yummies in the snacks and chips aisle. Things without an arm long list of weird ingredients. Things that do not taste weird and off the mark. (Except the ginger snaps...they need work...) I'm coming back for the things I used to count on Whole Foods for.... Sprouts makes me happy and actually look forward to my next trip. I love Sprout. It's near my nail salon and every time I go I always stop in there to check out their beautiful flowers + veggies. The parking at this location is great. Sprout is situated inside of a shopping center so there is always a spot that's open. The store is really clean and well put together. Each shelf is well stocked and there the veggies + fruit are always fresh. The staff was really nice and open to helping us find what we need. The cashier talk with us and said hello. My mother in law had never shopped there and she absolutely loved it. We ended up purchasing; squash, sweet potatoes, rice, corn meal, and tomatoes and felt that the pricing was really good. I don't know how much she spent but she was impressed. Overall beautiful store, very bright, easy to navigate and convenient. read more

Just opened today, this new kid in town based out of Arizona is alright! I'd say it's somewhat of a cross between Whole Foods and Trader Joe's in what they carry, size, and price point. Wonderful selection of produce, bakery, butcher counter and packaged meat, prepared meals, lots of bulk items, frozen and dry packaged goods, as well as large variety of supplements. tl;dr: WATCH FOR EXPIRATION DATES! I was excited to have a produce forward grocery store so close to my home. Their organic selection is great. However, their cold and shelf items are almost always EXPIRED. We looked at every Kefir they had in the dairy, and it was all over a month expired. This isn't the first time. And it's not limited to odd ball items like Kefir. Even the ravioli was expired. Every single time we shop there, we have to really pay attention to the sell by dates. I have been a loyal customer of this store for many years. I am someone who has loved, absolutely loved, Spouts for many years and nearly everyone I know I have told them to check out Sprouts, many on more than one occasion. It was my favorite store. Now, however, after the single worst experience I have ever encountered in a store in my entire life, and because it was not just one time, but also happened to other people I know this week, and when I also googled about it I see Sprouts is treating many customers in a similar fashion across the country, - this will be the first and last time I ever go to Sprouts - forever. Myself and others I know including those who are exempt from wearing a mask, have, on different days on separate incidents, been accosted by the rude, disrespectful, and unfriendly bouncer at the door. I did not think it was as bad as my friends said, but the experience I had today when I went in there was similar to that of my friends. If you are not wearing a mask or not wearing it fully covering your mouth and nose, then you will not be asked nicely, you will be yelled at, accosted, and forced to leave the store, embarrassingly. The rude bouncer employee followed me in after I put it over my nose after he yelled at me to do it when I walked in, even though I am exempt, and told me that wasn't good enough and started yelling at me to put it on over my nose and started making a scene and making accusations. I began to leave the store - not because I didn't want to comply with the store's mask rule, but because of the very rude and disrespectful way I was being treated, because I was not going to patron a store which was treating loyal customers with such disdain. Yet, even as I began to leave, he continued to accost me and speak to me very disrespectfully. So I demanded to speak with the manager as he nearly assaulted me to block me from entering and asking to speak with a manager. However, the manager was equally unkind. THE PROBLEM IS NOT THE MASK OBLIGATION. I KNOW THAT MANY STORES ARE WORRIED ABOUT THE IMPLICATIONS OF IT AND I AM SYMPATHETIC OF RETAIL STORES. This review is about management not being helpful at all. This is not about anything but management! I needed help finding something specific for an Instacart order (my first time in store and Instacart doesn't offer aisle info to find the product) I asked for help finding a bulk lemon bar box. I found the single bars but couldn't find the box. He was a short dark haired guy with a button down, so I assume he's in management. He looked as if he was annoyed before he even started answering me and quickly telling me whatever they have is out. But I specifically wanted to know if there was a box of bars instead of the single. He said again very short, no eye contact basically what I see is what I get. But again I needed help finding where it would be located bc my app told me someone had recently purchased it so they may not be out of stock, Was I looking in the wrong section. He pointed me in an area for blueberry bulk box bar I was looking for that appeared to be empty and he didn't even bother to ask more specifically about the lemon bar that I didn't see any PCU tags for. I had not had a great day just found out someone had passed, so I didn't have the bandwidth to beg for help when he clearly didn't want to help. My son was with me and later ran across the item near where we were but on a different shelf. Maybe he too had just found out someone he loved had died but just a little more direct communication and effective listening he would have been able to help me! read more

Ok. So I'm coming out of the closet. Or the pantry in this case. I've now added Sprouts to my weekly grocery circuit. I have turned into a bulk food junkie thanks to Sprouts. Honestly, I probably would not have come back here if Kroger's hadn't closed, and Lowes was no longer on my drive home. But I am a Boars Head snob, and they run specials weekly and that's what brought me back in. Then I spied the bulk food. Oh goodness that is just perfect for me since I like to try different things and not buy big quantities. So a scoop of quinoa to figure out if I like it or not won't set me back. And I pick up just enough dried fruit and granola to top my yogurt for a week or so. I swing by the produce since there is always a few really great bargains each week. So it's Food Lion for the majority of my purchases, Aldi for my protein and dairy, and Sprouts for my deli and bulk items. read more

I was amazed when I checked out that my bill was $87 with a $19 bottle of Aloe Vera. I had 18 items. Organic apples were on sale, Gala, for .99 a pound, 3 frozen entrees, organic eggs, nitrogen cold brew, avocados, freshly made green juice, gluten free buns, hot dogs, garlic and cheese mushrooms from produce, yogurt, wonderful Gold Nugget mandarin oranges that I tasted there, prepared acorn squash and some olives from the olive bar. I think that is amazing. I didn't like the organic greens though. They did not look fresh. I'm thinking that it is Monday afternoon and new produce has not arrived. I will most definitely return. This is an updated review with a four star rating (up from my original two star rating due to horrendous parking situation when they first opened). They eventually added a side parking lot since then and the "newest place to check out has worn off" so it's not as ridiculously crowded as when it first opened. It still strikes me like a cross between Trader Joe's and a Cracker Barrel somehow. And now that Whole Foods has been bought out by Amazon and become a totally different store, I like many things about Sprouts much better. Their various BOGOs are a very attractive feature too if you follow their ads. This is most likely going to be a place I go for certain items rather than a regular shopping point due to location and convenience unfortunately. read more

I was so excited to come to Sprouts when it opened. I have been here about 3 times to buy produce. The most recent time I shopped at Sprouts, I purchased organic raspberries. When I was eating the raspberries (after washing them) I found an entire BEE INSIDE OF MY RASPBERRY. Not only was I disgusted and appalled that their produce is infested with bugs, this is a major health concern. I have never been stung by a bee, thus I (or someone else purchasing these berries) could be allergic. I obviously filled out a complaint online; I did not want anyone else to have a similar experience. It took almost an entire week for the assistant manager of the store to get back to me. He offered to refund my cost for the raspberries. They were $2. He did not ensure that the berries would be disposed of, and he did not offer me any other compensation for my horrific experience. I love the spacious aisles and the abundance of fresh produce. Fresh being the operative word. Just like TJ and whole foods, Sprouts has their own label. Can parking be a challenge? Sure, it's the new kid in town, ever been to TJ? They are all parking nightmares. It's worth it due to the sheer volume of fresh produce. I perused the perimeter of the store and they are similar to most area stores, but way more organic selections. The grains and nuts area has both ready packaged and pack your own bins. Since Sprouts opened, it has been my go to grocery store. They always have great specials on the items in their store. I'm really a fan of their produce, seafood, and meats. The great and unique thing about their sales is that they have double ads Wednesdays so on Wednesday, their new ad starts and their previous week ad is still valid. They have a great selection of goods and so much to choose for to fit your grocery needs.
