This Smoothie King is located directly on South Cobb Drive and sits about a mile from the Windy Hill Intersection and/or Concord Road Intersection. They are not a big location and are drive thru only from what I can tell. Due to this, the drive thru can get quite long...so be prepared to wait on occasion! I was lucky enough to swing by on a Saturday morning around 11:00 AM, when there were only about 3 cars in line, so it only took me around 8-9 minutes from entry to exit. Service was ok, she was friendlier at the window then she was at the speaker. She had an attitude at the speaker and was not in the mood for any questions. I legit asked her about an ingredient and she gave the ole "uhhhhhh, yeah". Then at the window she was friendlier and polite with wishing me a good day and to enjoy the shake. The building and signage are in pretty rough shape, especially the signage. I mean one side of their road signs is faded and peeled beyond recognition, and the building needs some touch ups and a good pressure washing. It is not the most inviting place to scoop up a smoothie. The smoothie itself, while a little more expensive that I anticipated, was tasty. I got the Coffee High Protein as I am a mocha and coffee fiend. This was an after gym smoothie, so I got all the goods and the taste...so I was happy! Overall, this location is just ok. While the smoothies are consistent, the service is not and then you add the long lines and poor condition...that combination can make you drive a few extra miles to another location. read more

I haven't been to this location in about 6 months since the last incident. This time it was with the same rude pitiful excuse of a man. Walked to this location because they had FREE 12 oz. Banana cinnamon smoothies. I got to the window and placed my order. I pulled up my app and barcode, the guy took my phone to scan it. From the time I gave him my phone and to the time he brought it back, I have no idea what transpired. He brings my card back and by the time I madeb it back home, something tells me to check my account. And my tuition was right, my account was charged for the smoothie. Grant it, it was only $4, but it was my $4 when the smoothie should have e been free. I dont even know why the manager at this location is still there. You would think smoothie king cares about their customers enough to have someone running their establishment with some kind of sense. This guy is rude and was even yelling like a kid. No one ever answers the phone, which is ridiculous. He was screaming telling me to call corporate because he isn't refunding me. read more

They mustve have JUST changed their time of being open because Google AND Smoothie King app it said they were open at 7 am because I placed my order to be picked up at 8:20, I arrive at 8:28, and nobody is there. I get home and it says my order has been "Completed" at 9:15 WHEN IT NOW SAYS THE SHOP IS OPEN AT 9:30 am. Why would you set a time for people to pick up their smoothies at 8:20 if you're not open? They are never open at their starting time or they will have a sign posted on the drive through speaker...."Online Only". WTF? You only have a drive through. Don't even waste your time visiting because it's always something different. Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Arden Gardens and Planet Smoothie are not to far away. Today is Saturday morning and I wanted a smoothie, the website and the sign says open at 8 AM. It is 9 AM. There is no one in the building , cars are wrapped around the corner with very angry customers .This is the worst Smoothie King ever, I keep trying to give it a chance because it's near my home, but it has the worst service and never open on time , you are better off driving further away than taking a chance with this location. We frequent this establishment regularly because this is the only Smoothie King in the City of Smyrna, GA; however, the leadership (owner and management) clearly doesn't understand the meaning of quality customer service. We consistently place mobile orders AFTER this location is supposed to be open; for example, today, Sun 7/18/23, we placed an order at 10:30 am for pickup at 10:50 am, and even though this location was supposed to be open at 10 am, we arrived at 11 am to pick-up our two small smoothies, yet there was no one here. Worst of all, we were one of 6 cars that were here also, waiting for their mobile orders. Additionally, when we do place mobile orders, we usually have to wait 30+ minutes to receive our order, regardless of the pick-up time per the mobile order. It's worst when we rarely place our orders in person; we've had to wait as much as 66 minutes (1 hour and 6 minutes) before when receiving in-person placed orders. The staff does their best, but the issue is that ownership and/or management only staff one person at a time to operate the two drive-thru windows and one pick-up window. We came back at 1:00 pm to pick up our order from earlier today, Sun 7/18/23, for pick-up at 10:45 am, we waited 47 minutes to receive our two small orders, and there were nine cars, in addition to ours, and two customers at the walk-up pick-up window here at this time -- with only one staff member. Do better ownership and management. Pay your employees more, train them better, and set them up for success, not failure, by staffing more and showing you care. As a former restaurant general manager for five years, I know this establishment could do so much business with at least 4-6 staff on hand at all times--as all other Smoothie King locations do. I'm not feeling well and my husband went to get me a smoothie at noon, waited in the drive-through for 10 minutes and no one acknowledged him so he went up to the window and no one was inside, even though the sign says open. Then we called the store three times and no one answered so literally they're just not showing up. read more

Worse Smoothie King I've experienced. Wanted the matcha green tea smoothie and they gave me a mocha smoothie. I am sensitive to chocolate & dairy. The drive thru guy was yelling at me saying matcha is the same thing as mocha. Wanted to get a quick smoothie before work, I decided to order something else Slim&Trim Veggie smoothie but probably should have gotten a refund and left because the veggie smoothie he gave me wasn't that good and gave me a stomach ache. Sad because I have ordered the matcha green tea tango many times in the past at this location with no problem, must of gone down since the pandemic. Will never come back again. Drove down to pick up my order and they told me at the drive-thru window that they didn't have the necessary ingredients to make either of the smoothies I ordered and couldn't call me because the store phone wasn't working. He was able to call his manager, Tiffany, from his personal phone. Tiffany told him he couldn't call me from his personal phone and suggested he simply substitute the items. She also told him that if I wanted a refund, he is unable to issue it and that I would need to contact customer service myself to request the refund after explaining the situation to them. I went to the store to explain the situation but the employee was new and the manager wasn't around. Asked if manger could call me and left number...no call. I'll never go back. I gave it 3 tries, and each visit the wait time was very, VERY long. It is either way understaffed or the workers there need better training. Even that I could overlook, but when you FINALLY get to pull your car up to where the menu and speaker is, there is absolutely NO acknowledgment that you are there. BEWARE of mobile orders to this location!!! This one has been closed multiple times way before closing time. I've ordered from the app twice now, drove the 20 minutes over, just to find out it's closed and I can't get a refund! In general, It's extremely different from other locations in many bad ways. Slow and when I got to the window NO ONE acknowledged me. So I said 'Yo anybody there' . I was yelled at by some young man saying 'HEY you don't have to yell at me I'm busy when I can' . I've been going to this smoothie king for a while now and it used to be a good location but now it is terrible. Im jot sure if management changed or something but the smoothies never taste good. This location is usually slow which is fine. I decided to do pickup versus drive through. I ended up standing outside trying to order two smoothies for over 15 minutes nobody came to the window or acknowledged us. They only came to the pickup customer when another customer walked up because they gave them the wrong smoothies. Ignored me and another person who was also waiting and continued to make smoothies for drive through. Awful customer service. Plus nobody was wearing gloves which was disgusting. Never coming back. Let me start by saying, I really enjoy Smoothies. I find them to be a healthy alternative to junk food and traditional fast food.  And, if you are a regular at smoothie kings, you know this is an investment in your health. Read- The smoothies are not cheap.  I typically spend between $10 and $20 on a smoothie, but that's my choice. That being said, this location is simply awful.  They frequently are not open during published business hours, with no explanation and no excuse. They are never appropriately staffed, and frequently will mess up orders, again with no apologies.  I have experienced the worst customer service ever at this location. Twice, there has been an extended line in the middle of the day.  (I was patient, thinking they are preparing a delicious, healthy treat for the customer ahead of me in line). Boy was I wrong, the employee (and I use the word loosely had simply absconded). No One was working at the store in the middle of the day, no signage, no announcement nothing!  We were all waiting in line for nothing (drive through). To avoid lines, I had taken to ordering and paying online ahead of my arrival. You can also earn points this way to reduce the costs of smoothies, great? right? Finish up at the gym and preorder, prepay for the smoothie, quick up. What could go wrong? EVERYTHING! Store was supposed to open at 7AM, order placed at 7:15 AM, paid for, pick up scheduled at 7:25 AM, I get there at 7:30 AM,  NO ONE IS THERE. The store is not open, posted hours state 7AM, and not an employee, franchisee or manager in sight. Finally, go home and make my own smoothie, and tell corporate about the situation.  3 emails later, Corporate says they can give me a credit but for a refund, I have to go through the store, and fill out a detailed complaint.  A credit? No thank you! I paid for a service/product that was never delivered. Still have not received a refund, a proper apology  or an explanation for why this store is so poorly run/managed. If i could give this location zero stars i would. They are randomly closed or only taking online orders. It is near my work so i used to stop there every day to get my smoothie. but i have to leave my house early to stop before work as i live 45 minutes to an hour away. When i leave early to get my smoothie and they're closed or not taking orders, i don't have time to submit one online. It's ridiculous. And they only close if it's this one guy working by himself because he can't speak english. DONT SCHEDULE HIM BY HIMSELF IF HE CANT SPEAK ENGLISH. I just want my smoothie when i go into work. I see why they have such a low rating. We pulled up at 820 and the lady inside ran to the back. The open sign was off and they don't close until 9. Another car pulled up and the same thing happened. This place is close to Planer Fitness but it's very problematic! You may or may not get your smoothie for various reasons. No employees to banana shortage or technical issues. I'm not sure why they pre peel 100 plus bananas but I saw their process sitting in the drive through one day. SMH read more
