I wish I owned this walk-up or drive-thru location. It's perfect! A few lights away from Planet Fitness and plenty of residential properties. They had a soft g.o after teasing they were coming for weeks. I'm waiting for a big grand opening splash! They are still working through the new biz/ opening kinks. They have a coupon/loyalty program but they don't take or can't process the coupons.???? You can expect a wait during peak times (lunch, after work). I stopped by after my daughter's track practice today (about 7pm). I wanted 2 kids size smoothies (one wasn't a kids flavor) & an adult. I was going to buy 2 adult & 1 kids and asked if I could have an extra empty kids cup (even if I had to buy it). The lady wouldn't do it. She would not charge me for an adult one but make it in a kids size and she would not give me a kids size cup or sell me the kids size cup. I get it that it's not their normal way, but if she had an inch of customer service she would understand I just didn't want to give my daughter a giant smoothie. She didn't care, I didn't stay. Whoever owns this location should give their employees a serious lesson in customer service. If I could give NO stars I would. The staff is slow and unprofessional. The music is always blaring inside that you can barely hear them at the drive thru, but let's talk about how nasty the smoothies are! Ewww. This is the WORST smoothie king location, expect to take at least 30 mins in the drive thru. They always have missing ingredients for example they NEVER have frozen yogurt and haven't had any since they opened. They might as well close down. Employees are rude and unprofessional. An absolute disgrace to all those who have served, It is Veterans Day and smoothie king blast free smoothie marking for all veterans. Yet upon arrival only one veteran was allowed to order a free smoothie in the group and made the other veterans pay. This takes away appreciation from other veterans who also served. Unfortunately this smoothie King lacks leadership. After waiting at the drive thru for more than 30 minutes ,once it was my time to order I was turned away due to already being 9:00PM. Four more cars behind me we're left disgruntled after having to wait more than half an hour to just be turned away. Did not receive an apology for waiting. I typically have a good experience at Smoothie King however this location is the worst I've ever been to. Fist of all when I placed my order and asked him to substitute the nonfat milk for almond milk he told me my drink did not have milk in it. I then explained to him that the list of ingredients on the menu included non-fat milk, furthermore, ive ordered the same drink before at another location and it does include milk, the guy on the intercom told me he didn't know why the menu said the drink has milk in it. He then told me that all of the locations have different recipes. That is not my experience and I think that the kid was just lying. The worst smoothie king experience. Wait times are long even though they have a full staff. When I pulled up to the window, the three employees were arguing and it felt like a fight almost started. After which one of the employees went outside and instead of helping the long line of customers, was seen smoking outside. I waited for over 20 minutes and then when I received my smoothie after all that, it was water down and did not taste good at all. Will not be going back there. read more

No matter what time of day, the service is very slow and oftentimes unprofessional. They are also ALWAYS out of something. Two weeks ago they had no ginger and could not tell me if/when they'd get any. The employee stated that they had been out for a while. Today, I attempted to place my order and they were out of all vegetables...all of them? WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. I started coming to this location because of the convenient drive thru but I would much rather drive the distance get out of my car and go to the kiosk at Cumberland mall instead of going to this location. The cashier/associate is outside talking to a friend (non-co worker) when I pull up then he rushes in the door when I get in line and asks for my order (probably didn't even wash his hands) ok and still I begin to order but he was so rude rushing me like there was a line. I ordered a carribean way and I like to add kale and supplements but he just keeps cutting me off before I can even finish my order. Asking if that's all but answering the question on his own. This review pertains to several Smoothie King locations. Since my feedback on Smoothie King website did not generate a response, I would share my experience on Yelp. My husband & I decided to purchase a Smoothie King gift card as part of the Easter basket items this year. Smoothie King website says "You may purchase King Cards at all Smoothie King locations as well as online on our website". So we stopped at the South Cobb Dr., Smyrna location. When my husband asked to purchase a gift card, the employees "mumbled" among themselves. After a couple of minutes, we were told gift cards were a scam and they had never sold any gift cards. Before we headed to another location, we called three other Smoothie Kings to make sure they had gift cards available. Either no one picked up or a recording came on and said the mailbox was full. We decided to give it one more shot and drove to another location inside Cumberland Mall. Both employees behind the counter were making drinks for those customers who had already made their purchases and were waiting on the other side of the counter. There were several people in front of me when I first arrived. Within the 20-min wait, one employee came over only once to take one person's order. Had I not worried about losing my spot in line (my husband was waiting for me in the car), I would have gone up to the counter and asked if they had gift cards available. When I left, the same people but one were still in line and there were several more people behind me. Conclusion: we left and ended up purchasing a Starbucks gift card. read more
