First time in this restaurant we were greeted by a friendly smiling waitress. Sat us down promptly. Took our drink orders. They came out very quickly. Then we proceeded to order. I had the mermaid platter. My son had the clam whole belly clams wife had a cheeseburger and tater tots son and I both had soup clam chowder for him and lobster bisque for me which was fantastic to say the least. We then proceeded to get our meal. They came out hot. They were good. We are from Maine and this is a real traditional maine place. The food is good. The atmosphere is excellent. Place is clean and the wait staff can't be any more helpful. I will go back there anytime. read more

First time trying this place and first time at this location. I had seen a few while driving and exploring Tampa, my new home! I went after a workout and ordered the Island Impact smoothie. It was so yummy! What I love most about Smoothie king is that it's also a mini supplement shop as well. The convenience of being able to get a few energy drinks and other post/pre workout snacks/items on the go is wonderful. Their menu has so many smoothie options and I will be trying all of them eventually! I love smoothies after working out! JAMIE IS AWFUL! After a very long day, I walked in to treat myself to a smoothie. There was another customer there, working with an employee by the name of JAMIE. The customer was asking JAMIE questions about his smoothie because something didn't seem quite right. Two employees walked out and confirmed with what the customer was saying- JAMIE was not making the drink correctly. The customer clearly was irritated and just left with his drink. As soon as he left, JAMIE began mocking the customer in front of me to his co workers and making statements about how the former customer "was a retard", for "asking him questions." I said to him "you can't talk like that and you should not be using that kind of language around customers it's disrespectful. Little does he know that I was actually picking up a drink for my son that has developmental disabilities. I will never come back to this location again because JAMIE IS AWFUL! If it's Friday and you need a pick me up head over to Smoothie King for their $5 smoothies all day on Friday's only. I've been drinking smoothie King smoothies since 1998 at USF. They have a location inside the campus gym. My all time favorite flavor to get is called Caribbean Way. My kids enjoy their smoothies as well and I like that they offer children sizes. If you're watching your weight and sugar intake they offer slim options. If you're body building and trying to bulk, they offer high protein smoothies as well. Not to mention they have a store section where you can purchase healthy snack options such as protein powders, protein bars and other savory snack options. They make the smoothies pretty fast so even if the line is long you don't have to wait long once you place your order. First time here . Great smoothies!!! Well done too. They have a great variety of smoothies. I think this is a place I'd comeback and we'll make me a smoothie fanatic. The persons working there were nice and cheerful. My only complain and deal breaker are floors were dirty with water standing on the room behind what seems to be a storage ( door was open). Also, The person preparing the smoothie washed his hands and dry them with his own t-shirt. Today 3/6/17 at 12:45 pm I stopped by to buy açaí adventure and the taste was totally different. Went and told the employee to make another one. Then they started laughing in my face. That is most disrespectful things for a client. You can see that the employees don't put effort they don't care about the customers. I go there almost everyday to buy an açaí adventure for me and my son and Right now with those disrespectful employees I advise others to go to any other smoothing king. The owner needs to put employees that want to work because these workers you have now will break your business because the number one thing of a business man is the customer service and in this store your store the customer service is zero. read more

Terrible customer service. First off, the cashier did not know the ingredients to the smoothies and then would not accept my cash as payment because they'd lost their marker that detects fraudulent cash. I explained to the cashier that I had just come from the ATM and I can assure you my money was good and the coworkers of this cashier even assured him that the pen has been missing all day apparently with the manager's knowledge (essentially indicating they had been receiving cash payments without the pen) The cashier, however, refused to accept my cash payment even after they had already started making the smoothie and clearly they were not going to give me the smoothie as I only had cash on hand. So he lost the sale, made the drink anyway but would not give it to me and would not accept my money. He wouldn't even sell me a bottled water. Was over charged and didn't want to wait to have it remade. The service has gone way down, been going for 3 years, now they have all new staff and takes forever to get the order. One time I went in and was in a hurry and walked out with a smoothie that was like water. They need to be trained better, I know they're new but someone should be there that knows what's going on.
