Ordered a chocolate gladiator, with bananas and strawberries. Came out looking exactly like a strawberry gladiator, could taste bananas, but couldn't see or taste any chocolate at all. Asked about it when I first got it. They insisted it was a chocolate gladiator. I tasted it and relied that it tastes like a strawberry gladiator. I hate to leave bad reviews but I won't be returning. I've been coming every weekend and it gets worse and worse. There is only one worker that seems to make the açaí bowls right. Today my bowl is less than half full and has only a few pieces of fruit. Super disappointing to spend $13 and receive 50% of what I usually do. I guess I'll try other locations. read more

Came here for simple in and out while traveling. I did not realize there was a drive thru around back. The menu is so extensive, and can appear overwhelming, but Each visit to Smoothie King gets easier. Today I got the Mango Kale with a few extras. The smoothie was delicious and refreshing. First time I ever came here and the ladies were really helpful. They explained the menu to me and gave suggestions on what I should get based on my likes and their customers' most popular drinks/favorites. Very helpful! I ended up with some vanilla and peanut butter protein shake. I was worried it would taste funky, but it's absolutely DELICIOUS! They have $5 medium drinks on Fridays, which was a plus! All drink sizes are fairly large, so I was using it as a meal substitute. I actually have a lot of energy and don't feel hungry. I will be back!! read more

I've been to Smoothie King's in DC, VA, Md, and now PA. Clean place. The staff was young, helpful, and quick. They answered my questions and greeted me with a smile. Absolutely love the smoothies and have been coming here frequently for years, but the service has gotten worse and worse. I went through the drive through, had to repeat my order 3x, ordered one small and one medium smoothie, paid for both which was $15-16 and they hand me one small smoothie and tell me to have a nice day.... so i repeat my order for the fourth time and finally get the correct smoothies. If you've been to Smoothie King in the past year, you've probably noticed a shift in quality, especially if you've been a long-time customer. Not only have the quality of the smoothies themselves deteriorated, but so has the staff. More and more, the employees of the York location decline in quality, whether it be their attitudes, or their quality of service. Provided you don't have to repeat your order upwards of 5 times, you're generally greeted with poor cash-handling and even worse problem-resolution. It seems as if the employees are running around directionless, and I can't entirely fault them for that. What I can fault them for however, is their speed and quality of actually making smoothies. Imagine you're sitting in a drive-thru for a minimum of ten minutes, only to be given a watered-down mess of ingredients. Sure, they'll re-blend it for you, but the result is another loss of ten minutes and a similarly bad product. To anyone looking for a truly positive experience, look elsewhere. The bright lights of Smoothie King may look swell, but it's nothing but a ruse to take your money and give you little to nothing in return. read more

Staff were talking inside with each other while we sat waiting for 10 minutes. They then came out and we paid and then waited another 5 minutes for our smoothies. Then they were the wrong sizes. Not our first time waiting long periods at this smoothie king when they arent busy inside. read more
