I shopped the lowered level, looking to purchase the cut watermelon, in which Ive found to be great from Whole Foods. However, today they only had 2 very tiny cutlets of watermelon (not even a quarter of a whole watermelon) for $3 each. I did find that they had whole watermelons for $6.99 on sale and I grabbed one. With this being Memorial Day weekend, but a nasty rainy day, it was very quiet and calming shopping and checking out experience. Parking is free if you make a purchase, as a validation slip to use at exit to the garage will be provided. The owners Meaghan and Shane opened this in 2022 on York road and it's just a delightful experience. My favorite is the super chicken (I always order this) and for a drink the house paw paw soda it's made with the native fruit paw paw (do research on this it's amazing) that they make into a vinegary shrub with soda water. It's so yummy. The quality shines here as well as the light airy high ceiling interior and the plants. This is a must visit and honestly a little slept on. Lisa was my server on my most recent visit and she was so sweet. She told me her wife works here and she was filling in as a neighbor and a patron! We love that.

They are serving "real" kombucha - complete with all-natural effervescence - and every flavor truly impressed us. They range from superfood-forward classics like ginger and turmeric to fun seasonals like smoked pineapple to mind-blowing botanical mashups like hibiscus/mint/linden flower. They described them as "guzzleable," and let's just say we guzzled! They have an equally impressive lineup of house fermented veggies that are all unique. We loved the extra spicy kimchi and the green tomato ferment. Their food menu is a colorful and creative celebration of all their homemade and locally sourced fermented and other food items. Within a few weeks/month the quality changed, chicken wasn't cooked or cut the same, it was now massive hunks, not nice slices (is that a huge deal, no but it was one thing among many) the seasoning/saucing became inconsistent sometimes being barely enough to even taste it, some weeks you would have more rice, other weeks you would have less, I'm ordering for portions to be controlled and protein/carb/fat balance to be controlled, so if its inconsistent it matters. A few times I got the wrong flavors/items completely, it was all over the place.
