They exceeded my expectations in every way. I've used movers several times in my life and this is the best company I've dealt with.

From Here to There had nice estimators, very nice and hard-working movers. However, I have to say that they provided me with the most grossly inaccurate estimate a professional company has ever given me. They came to my house, estimated it would take a certain amount of movers, a certain amount of time, and use a certain amount of trucks. Now, keep in mind, that I had nearly EVERYTHING in my house boxed up and staged for them to grab and go. Around 11:30 the night of the move, with a truckload still left at my old house, I dismissed the movers because I was exhausted, as I had to help them do the work. This was about 4 hours longer than they had said would take to complete the move. They sent another crew the next day to pick up the rest of the items and move them. The crew did not even bring most things into my house; instead, they left it all in the garage and I had to complete the move over the next couple weeks. My bill, which was X amount based on the estimate, ended up being about 35% higher than the estimate. They met me almost in the middle on the bill but, considering I did much of the work for them, I feel ripped off. I do not recommend this company. Like I said, it was the most grossly inaccurate estimate I have ever received and did not accurately represent the amount of work I had to do for them. Please do not use them.

I hired My 3 Sons Moving in Richmond, KY to help with a home move, and unfortunately had a very…read moredisappointing experience. During the move, the crew broke my 85-inch flat screen TV due to clear negligence. They laid it flat in the truck -- something that any reputable mover knows not to do -- and crammed it in without proper protection. I have photos and videos showing the careless handling that led to the damage. You can clearly see in the photo the TV box laid flat sandwiched between other items, causing the box to be dented prior to transport. A manager was on-site during the move and personally helped load the TV, contributing directly to how it was mishandled. Despite that, it took over three weeks and having to conduct multiple follow-ups before I finally heard back from the company. When they did respond, they offered me just $60 in compensation -- which doesn't even come close to covering the cost of the damaged TV. On top of that, I've asked them to remove the broken TV from my home, since I'm not physically able to move it myself, and have received no help or solution on that either. This experience has been extremely frustrating -- not only because of the damage, but because of the lack of accountability, poor customer service, and insulting resolution offer. I would strongly urge others to look elsewhere if you want your belongings treated with care and your concerns handled professionally.

Broke my computer and office desk and refuse to pay for it! In fact, when I brought it to their…read moremanager's attention everything that had happened in my horrible experience with the afternoon moving team, I received a text (see images) from him alleging I owed THEM more money and basically tried to extort me into paying more BEFORE he'd even "investigate" my damage claims! It all started when, toward the very end of the first 1.5 hours of a 2 hour 10 min move (I timed it on my phone), I had no choice but to leave to meet agent for my new keys. I stood in front of both movers and said EVERYTHING ELSE needs to be loaded and brought to the new house except the garbage can. 15 min later, they arrived at the new location, and it was clear as soon as they opened the truck that they had NOT grabbed THOUSANDS of dollars worth of my property from the old place! They left behind (see images for PROOF!): 2 expensive TVs, all my art canvases, a floor lamp, vertical fan, all my bedding, my large dog cage, office chair, dog food bins, and all my CLOTHES which were neatly hung and stacked and wrapped! I didn't get mad (though it made no sense to me at all) and simply said they would have to go get the stuff. I had informed My 3 Sons and the movers that I have no help AND that I have Huntington's and I cannot carry anything myself! They left (after hurriedly unloading and putting everything willy nilly with no rhyme or reason) to go get the rest of my things (supposedly). A few minutes later, I decided I needed to go behind them and MAKE SURE they got it all! I arrived at the old address no more than 10 min later, and they were already gone. When I went inside, I saw that they had ONLY grabbed the dog cage and office chair!! They left THOUSANDS of dollars worth of property behind YET AGAIN! And that's after being given a second chance to make it right! I quickly called one of the movers on his cell and (yes, firmly) informed them they HAD to come finish the work I had paid for! He yelled at me, and he gaslit me, alleging, "You said to leave everything except the dog cage and chair!" WHO WOULD EVER WANT LET ALONE ASK MOVERS TO LEAVE TVS, CLOTHES, BEDDING, ART WORK, ETC WORTH THOUSANDS BEHIND?!?!?! Let's put on our grown up brains and think about that!! I then got a call from their manager (never gave me his name), who clearly intended to just back up his movers, and as I talked to him, I got a text saying I had been charged almost $500!!! This was WELL ABOVE the quoted rate of $184 per hour, when the move took exactly 2 hours and 10 minutes! They overcharged me without my permission when I should have only paid less than $400! Later that evening, when I went to set up my office, that's when I noticed they had damaged my PC unit/main monitor BEYOND REPAIR, as well as breaking my office desk (it's bowed and drawers wont close now)!! For My 3 Sons to not only do all this to me but then try to extort me for another $100 ABOVE the overcharge already BEFORE they will even investigate my damage claims of over ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS is just beyond a bad review. This will be taken to small claims court this week! BBB has already been reported. I'm sure some of their movers are fine! But the main mover who was sent to "help" me was a dick, they were lazy, they rushed, and they cost me THOUSANDS and wasted my time! But the worst of it is the extortion attempt by the Richmond location manager, who clearly states in the text shown in the pic that AFTER I "pay the balance due" (a new random amount allegedly owed) THEN they would "investigate" my claims. This is beyond the pale. And the movers and the manager are a disgrace and going to wind up costing My 3 Sons a lot of money in the long run for being lazy and saving 15 minutes more work.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Maybe the moving crew is great - but we'll never know, because…read morethey canceled our service at 4:00 PM the day before they were supposed to help. We hired them through U-Haul, and only needed a few hours with 2 people. We are in our sixties and have moved several times. We had already emptied out most of the storage unit, and just needed help with about 5 pieces of heavier items. We had a truck reserved for the morning, and planned to have Helping Hands load, unload, and take those few pieces upstairs in our new home. The day before, the coordinator called and insisted we didn't have a big enough truck (we did) and we needed more people and time (we didn't). First, he said we needed 3 people for at least 6 hours; then he said they had another job for the afternoon and couldn't give us 3 hours. Then he said he wouldn't do the job because it "didn't meet his expectations." This was on a Thursday at 4:00 PM. We needed someone for Friday morning, as the truck was already reserved. Then on Saturday morning, the coordinator called and said they were on their way to help move (wrong number?) We had 2 friends who volunteered to come. We had the 5 heavy pieces and much of the rest of the unit loaded, unloaded and put into place within 2 1/2 hours. I would NEVER recommend this company for any service.

They figured out a way to get it done and were so careful with all my furniture and boxes etc. they worked so hard but at the same time we're so courteous to me and made the experience a good one! The mistake I made was not telling them in advance about an extremely heavy item but they were understanding and even though I had to pay a little extra it was well worth it. Apparently it's in the contract to tell them about such items but I did not let them know. They were still so professional and I would hire them again in a minute for any type of moving. It's so nice when you are able to get great people to help during a stressful time in your life! Oh yes they actually unloaded two PODS onto a truck then got closer to the apartment unloaded the truck and climbed stairs! Done in 1 1/2 hours!

DO NOT TRUST YOUR FURNITURE WITH "My 3 Sons Moving" Not only might it be damaged from mishandling,…read morebut they will NOT make it right. I will have to say that was one of the roughest moves ever. Wildcat did our last move, brought two trucks and not one item was broken or scuffed. They wrapped everything in blankets before even moving it through the house. My 3 Sons guys were speedy but did not take any care to any of our furniture. The lift gate on their trucks is very very ribbed and rough (as it should be anti-skid), yet instead of using dollies they would push everything out to and across it, grinding and ripping away at anything going across it. The bottom left rear leg, and corresponding molding was ripped from our wardrobe, the legs of my cabinet were bent and one ripped off. It was a heavy-duty reinforced steel cabinet. Our 3-month-old couch was man handled vs using team work then slammed down on the power adapters and pushed across the floor of the truck with no blankets. (have video) My cherry TV tray tables were set precariously on the lift and then knocked off to slam into a toy cabinet of my daughters. I am extremely unhappy And the company's contact Mitch Boggs is blowing me off and offering $60 per a damages policy that was never sent to me for review, and I certainly didn't sign. The policy to me would be void anyway as this is not just normal moving damages but GROSS NEGLIGENCE and mishandling. When bottoms start ripping off multiple things you'd think they'd stop and think. I pressed them to use their dollies. I didn't find till later a lamp had Its bottom popped off too. We don't buy the finest of furniture but apples to apples I'd say we are out over $300 to replace the wardrobe, $50-100 for the lamp, the TV trays that were knocked off the truck are scarred and they no long snap into place. One lateral filing cabinet they refused to use a dolly and kept dropping it down onto the concrete. I now have lots of legs of most of the furniture to sand and hopefully match the stain. Power cables to find as items I didn't plan to go were unplugged without me present in the room and some I still haven't matched up yet. And we just got the sectional, and it is scarred and has picks and stitching ripped on it to replace back as it was would be several thousand, as instead of team carrying much of it was man handled in a ripping and dropping fashion. I am currently seeking an attorney that will take this issue forward as it appears they are known for this. I wish I had seen some of these other reviews first.
