I came in randomly on a Tuesday afternoon. I asked for the price list and scanned their QR code. Pricing isn't too bad for this day in 2023. Lee took care of my pedicure while Wendy took care of my manicure. I grew up in this environment so I told them I didn't like the hot stone massage so we agreed that she would exchange for the sugar scrub! These ladies knew what they were doing!!! I only went here because Lee was my nail lady. This was the Only reason why I continued to go back to this place. Owner was always very rude and it was annoying how I would make appointments and then get skipped or the price was always more and even when I earned a discount on their machine stating I could use a discount on my service it was always a hassle to use it. Went to get a pedicure about a month ago and when the guy was doing my nails, he use used an acrylic nail to take off the old acrylic that was on there. Not only was he hurting me while he put that acrylic nail under the old acrylic but he also cut my nail bed. My toe starting hurting and I could see a faint red line (blood) across my nail bed. He stopped doing what he was doing and started massaging my feet and totally ignored that he cut my nail! Unfortunately the reviews are correct. It seems like it's new and nice, but not sanitized correctly at all. My pedicure chipped after less than a week. Not sure if it's old polish or what but usually my pedicure will last at least 3 weeks no problem. One of the workers was texting on her phone and ran into me !!!! Seriously you're at work pay attention. I wouldn't get away with that at my place of employment. The staff just cross talked the whole time which is not relaxing to listen to people yell across the salon for an hour laughing and joking. It's a no for me. Also my pedicure was done in about 30 mins compared to the person I was with that took over an hour ?? Sooo what was skipped , or who was distracted! It was just an annoying experience that I paid for! Also for context. There are probably 20+ nail shops in the area to chose from. So providing good customer service and a SAFE clean environment is part of the job. Being an avid Yelper it is my responsibility to inform other potential customers that they could possibly be getting an infection. I went in as a walk in with a girlfriend of mine. The location is kind of tucked away right next to chipotle, so I wasn't expecting much but I was blown away! The decor is so adorable. I'm all about presentation. I got my nails done yesterday by a different salon and my white gel nails legit started to turn brown over night + Sophia filed down the top coat for me and reapplied a top coat they had and they look so much better. She only charged me $5 for that too, which was awesome. I also got a pedicure done. The sweet older lady (I wish I would have caught her name) massaged my feet for so long that I ended up falling asleep. My girlfriend got acrylic nails + hers looked so dreamy!! She also got a gel pedicure 3 weeks ago and I was surprised to hear that because it looks like she got them done a few days ago. Definitely recommend! I have no idea what the previous reviews are referring to about sanitation. I watched them sanitize the tub before they put in a new liner + everything was very clean and well put together. I went in with my mom and sister last weekend to get pedicures and ended up with an infection in my nail bed. Not to mention the first lady that did my pedicure took forever and when she was done a second lady came over and basically re-did the whole pedicure. I'm talking clippers, files, buffers and cuticle clippers, they all came out again! The lady who did my mom's pedicure was texting on her phone the entire time. Their basic pedicure is $30 and claims to include a callous treatment... nope, just the regular old yellow block scrub down that you get at any other shop. It's overpriced and they obviously don't sanitize properly. Learn from my misfortune and go to Fresh Nails by the pond. They open brand new tools for every customer and I've never had any problems there. I will never come to this shop again!! Edit: it is now the following day and another toe is getting sore and red. When this place first opened, they did a nice job. But now they really suck. I don't recommend coming here. I always get a deluxe with gel and last time I had a guy who gave me a 2 minute massage. And I literally time it on my phone. And this time I tried again and the lady painted my toes so fast. She left gel polish all over my feet and my toes look like shit. I was really nervous after reading the reviews, but a co-worker loves this spot so I tried it out. I was really impressed with how clean it is! They give you hand sanitizer as you walk in and require you to wash your hands before you start your appointment. The foot massage with the pedicure along with the pineapple oil was amazing!
