We were broke down on the side of I 84 approximately 30 miles out on pur was to New Mexico. Guessing it might be the transmission, maybe worse. The dispatcher was friendly and kept us updated on eta of driver. The driverer (my memory is terrible so I don't remember his name) Was very professional and helpful with recommending shops. read more

We called AAA and they contacted Snake River Towing. Jake came out to the middle of nowhere to tow our broken down RV. We couldn't find anywhere that would agree to look at it for several days, so we were feeling low. He called around for us, found us a repair shop, and towed us there promptly. The Dodge dealership in Burley found the part, had it sent from Salt Lake, and did the work the next morning at a very reasonable price. Irresponsible. Wasted my time promising pick up, driver refused, office wouldn't take my calls.

Broke down near Declo in the middle of the night and the driver was prompt and did an amazing job. He loaded the vehicle quickly and drove us to Pocatello. Dropped the vehicle exactly where we wanted it. He was very nice and the conversation for the hour drive was great. I learned a great deal about this family run and owned business. The dispatcher offered a van so I could drive my family, but ultimately the driver worked it out so we did not need the van...saving me hundreds of dollars. We really appreciated the extra effort! Worst towing experience in my life. Tow driver brings his 4 year old that keeps him distracted. He unhooked my tow bar from our rented Uhaul truck with car still on it. The tow bar pops up and tears off my jetta's bumper cover. He sulks up like a kid and just hands me the bill while holding his kid. No apologies. read more

We had no choice but to use Snake River Towing but they were just the honest, kind people we needed. When we broke down on the border of Utah and Idaho, in the middle of nowhere, AAA tried to tell us that our vehicle wasnt covered. After arguing with AAA for an hour they agreed to send a tow truck driver to asses the size of our RV. When they arrived they were very friendly and had no question about if our rig would fit on their flatbed. The next morning at their shop, their mechanic was completely honest with us and didnt try to push a thing on us. He said our water pump and alternator was going out and thats why we break fan belts. He told us we might make it to our destination (Vegas) without breaking another belt or having other problems but maybe not. They offered a good price for the water pump and alternator replace but advised us to just try to continue on with a new belt if we were on a tight budget. So we chose to just get the belt and the only charged us $15 bucks even after retrieving it from napa, about a ten or fifteen minute drive away. Then as i fired the rig up and it didnt sound right, the guy comes over and proceeds to fix the radiator fan cover (it was rubbing), and ask for no charge. I insisted and gave him a few more bucks.
