DO. NOT. HIRE. THIS. GUY. His name is Greg Leon Crumpacker. He was already in the neighborhood when I called, at Marson and Marson. He was here for 20 minutes. I helped him unload and start and hook up his equipment, a broken-down pressure washer-like device that propels a line up your septic from the tank. I already had the tank covers off for him. He said things like "I hope you got a fat juicy credit card" and "I won't gouge you any more than the next guy." I thought he was joking, but then I got his bill. $888. I almost fell down. It didn't feel like I had been helped. It felt like a crime, like I was being robbed, but I didn't feel like there was anything I could do. Greg the Snakeman was fast to reply to my call our septic needed some repairs and he knew what to do was dependable always came when he said as it took afew trips to our place we were very impressed with his work and enjoyed his personality plus we would highly recommend him he knows his business. read more

First I want to say this company is super responsive and professional. Got the job done really quickly. The bill on the other hand was shocking! $380 for a half hour of work. This would be reasonable if it was difficult work or with the use of specialty equipment. It was with a pressure washer in the outside clean out . My fault for not asking how much upfront. read more

When I had originally called the Snakeman, I told him we needed our pipe snaked and that we had already been at it for 3 hours with a rental from Home Depot. He laughed at me and said, do you have the toile off? I said no, it's the kitchen sink. He then laughed again saying "you have nothing to worry about, people can live without a kitchen sink, but they can't live without a toilet". He said he could come out, but that I had to text him my info or else I wouldn't make it onto the schedule, so I text him our info and he then arrived about 30 minutes later. When the Snakeman arrived, he came into our home and got straight to work on the kitchen drain. He did not lay out any protective measures to keep from making a mess. While he was snaking our pipe, he was talking about how snaking the pipe was not going to work, but that we would be paying him for his service that day and that we would be paying him to return to then jet the pipes the next day, and that my husband would have to be present due to it being a two-man job... He was very cocky and loud! Once he reached what he thought was the end of the line and was now at the entrance to our septic tank he began to pull the snake back out. About halfway out he noticed the amount of gunk that was on the snake and that it was being wrapped up with all the gunk on it. He pushed the snake back into the pipe till there was no gunk showing. He then started pulling it back out and wiping the snake as he reeled it in. Please keep in mind that he never put anything down to prevent a mess. He also did not bring any towels or shop towels to wipe his equipment off with either. He used a whole Costco role of paper towels from my pantry! As he reeled it in whipping it off, he was splattering pipe sludge all over my cabinet floor, the outside of my cabinet, my floor, and my dishwasher! He attempted to clean up some of the splatters on the face of my cabinet but ended up just smearing it all over and making the mess even bigger. Once he got the snake out, he packed up his machine, said sorry about the mess, charged us $300.00 for 20 minutes of work, and left WITHOUT CLEANING UP THE MESS HE JUST MADE! He also never put the P-Trap back on to see if what he had done worked or not. I have never in the 10 years of being a homeowner had to clean up that massive of a mess from a plumber. read more

I had a sewer pipe that was clogged and after trying to use an electric snake for 2 hours, I called Greg for help. Greg was out within an hour and was able to unclog our pipes within 15 minutes. Greg was very professional and reasonably priced as well. I would definitely recommend "The Snakeman" for all your clogged pipes! read more

Unprofessional. Hard to work with. Difficult to pin down the actual cost of a project. Did damage to our irrigation system with no intention of repairing it, just covered up the broken pipes. I then had to locate the broken pipes and repair them myself. Project took 3 weeks instead of the projected one week. Many delays and thousands of dollars later. All in all we're in hopes that the work was done right. read more
